This page notes details of Mist Valley Soldier (WIND/Winged Beast/Tuner monster) : decks, tips, effect and rulings. Learn and enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links!
While you control this face-up card, any opponent's monster that battles this card, but is not destroyed by the battle, returns to its owner's hand at the end of the Damage Step.
Use this monster to deal with your opponent’s monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle and instead keep returning them to the hand.
Because of Mist Valley Soldier’s relatively high level for a Tuner, you can pair him with any easily Special summonable monster or token for a quick Synchro Summon.
Level-8 Synchro
Level-4 monsters are pretty common. Use them alongside Mist Valley Soldier to Synchro summon into a level-8 Synchro monster.
You can use Trap cards like Tiki Soul and Tiki Curse which turn into monsters to quickly provide you with Synchro materials alongside Mist Valley Soldier to Synchro summon.
I have never seen it take effect. A opponents Blue Eyes fusion monster attacked my MVS while it was face up in attack position but did not return to opponents hand. Am I using it wrong?
As far as I know, Katakuri is currently kicking the hell outta of poor Luffy, but I read somewhere that Katakuri is defeated in the manga, so things might change... I haven't watched the series lately. Been playing Duel Links a lot lol
