Life Cost 0 You can use the skill when your Life Points are 1000 or less. You do not have to spend Life Points to activate a card until your opponent's next turn ends. You can only use the skill once per Duel.
With the new pvp rule of starting with 5000LP instead of 4000LP, LP Boost α is all you need to be able to activate Cyber-Stein's effect immediately without needing to use heal cards.
Always try to finish the Duel within 1 turn or else your chances of winning drop significantly, especially against Amazoness decks using Amazoness Swordswoman.
This version of the deck works best in a format where backrow is least prominent. Because at most your best form of protection would be Arcana Knight - Joker.
It is favorable to go second for an additional draw and to attack immediately.
To make this deck work you need to get Gold Sarcophagus and Different Dimension Resurrection/Escape from Dark Dimension in your starting hand. Banish Cyber-Stein with Gold Sarcophagus and then use another card to revive him. If you have multiple Gold Sarcophagus in your hand, you can banish more Cyber-Steins, D.D.R.s, and Escape from Dark Dimensions from your deck so that they do not become dead draws with Into the Void.
Temple of the Kings allows you to activate Trap cards the turn you set them. This allows you to activate Escape from Dark Dimension quicker and revive Cyber-Stein. You are also able to activate Treacherous Trap Hole to clear your opponent's monsters. To activate multiple Treacherous Trap Holes set both cards first and then turn on Self Chain, Now you can respond to your own Treacherous Trap Hole with another copy of the card.
After Reviving Cyber-Stein and clearing your opponent's field, it's time to OTK. Use the Cyber-Stein's effect to special summon a Fusion monster from your extra deck. The monster to summon depends on the situation, if your opponent does not have any card left on the field or if you only have 1 Cyber Stein on the field the best monster to summon is Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and hope that you can end the game. If your opponent has Backrow set then it is best to special summon Arcana Knight - Joker for protection but keep in mind you need 2 Cyber-Steins on the field to OTK. If you cannot OTK this turn the best to summon would probably be Cyber Blader for stalling and gaining effects depending on how many monsters are in your opponent's field.
Since you will be ending the duel anyway or spending your entire hand to try, the drawback of Into the Void would not really affect you. So using Into the Void as a way to draw into your combo pieces is a great way to boost consistency.
You need search cards in your deck to get your combos out quicker and thin your deck. Set Sangan on the field and have your opponent destroy it to search out Cyber-Stein. Use The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh to add Kuriboh from your deck to to your hand. You can use The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh when your opponent declares an attack and then during the damage step activate Kuriboh to negate the damage.
Try to not lose the duel before you complete the cards you will need for your combo. Use stall cards to drag out the duel until you are ready to use your combo. Kuriboh only defends you from damage so it is best to use him when your opponent declares a direct attack, he can be searched by using Flute of Summoning Kuriboh.
Just like the usual Cyber-Stein decks, use its effect once you lowered your HP to 1000, and use your skill Life Cost 0 to special summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon or any other fusion monster from your extra deck. Although not as powerful as Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in terms of stats, other fusion monsters in this deck have great effects that also make them worth summoning.
Arcana Knight Joker has amazing stats and can protect himself from any card effect as long as you can discard a card of the same type from your hand.
Blade Skater gains a lot of powerful effects depending on the number of monsters your opponent controls.
Use Cosmic Cyclone to remove from play any spell/trap card on the field. Use this during the turn you activate Life Cost 0 so you can activate it for free. Conversely you can use this to reduce your LP helping you activate Life Cost 0.
Activate Hey, Trunade at the start of your turn to protect yourself from your opponent's backrow. Using this at the right time can help you to OTK your opponent.
Normal summon Destructotron to clear the spell/trap card zone of your opponent by lowering your own LP enough to activate Cyber-Stein's effect, you can also use Pyschokinesis to clear your opponent's monster.
Once you've successfully cleared your opponent's field for any potential threat to your combo, you can now activate your spell Double Summon and normal summon Cyber-Stein.
When I have a Cyber-Stein, Brain research lab and DNA surgery for which I've declared "Psychic" on my side of the field, I don't get the option to activate Cyber-Stein's effect.
Do you need to have more than 5000 lp in order to use this particular strategy??? And in that case, then it's literally useless.
How the heck do people manage to KoG with this?
It bricks SO MUCH, even with 3 Cyclones, several Trunades and 2 Sangans.
I almost never draw both backrow removal AND Stein when my LP go down to or below 1000.
I know it’s a late response. But my deck is.
2 sphere kuriboh, 3 kuriboh, 3 cyber stein, 3 crystal seer, 3cosmic cyclone, 2 hey trunade, 2 flute kuriboh, and 2 magical mallet. Extra 2 blue eyes, ojama king, 2 Gatling dragons. Very consistent deck for me in plat. Beat mirror match, with ojama king. Lose to UA deck. Beat furry decks. Beat amazon decks. 80 percent so far. Small bricks and UA decks.
I know, activating a hey trunade before summoning cyber stein.

I lol so hard when my opponent thinks they’re going the W by summoning a OP fusion monster with stiens effect only for it to get negated by my chalice. They retaliate with a hard rage quit.
