Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag
FIRE Machine ★9
ATK 2750 / DEF 2750
Selection Box Vol.06 [UR]
If a monster is in the Extra Monster Zone: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can target 1 face-up monster in the Extra Monster Zone; equip that face-up monster to this card (max. 1). When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can Special Summon 1 of your Monster Cards equipped to this card. You can only use each effect of "Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag" once per turn.

Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag can be a useful addition to a Salamangreat Code Talker deck. Its ability to be Special Summoned from the hand if an opponent has a monster in the Extra Monster Zone allows for easy field presence. Additionally, its effect to equip a face-up monster from the Extra Monster Zone to this card can be helpful in removing a potential threat from the opponent's field while also increasing this card's ATK. Finally, when it destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it allows for a Special Summon of one of your own equipped Monster Cards, potentially leading to further combos or extending your plays.

Salamangreat Gazelle
FIRE Cyberse ★3
ATK 1500 / DEF 1000
Soulburner at Lvl 23 [UR]

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Salamangreat" card from your Deck to the GY, except "Salamangreat Gazelle". You can only use each effect of "Salamangreat Gazelle" once per turn.

Main Combo Setup Core Card of Salamangreat Deck. Gazelle is a free summon Level 3 Salamangreat Monster while any Salamangreat Monsters sent to your Graveyard, then you can dump 1 Salamangreat Card from your Deck. This effect can helps you dump Salamangreat Monsters for Link Combo or Salamangreat Roar for Board Control. Overall, Gazelle is a powerful extender and searcher in this Deck.

Salamangreat Jack Jaguar
Salamangreat Jack Jaguar
FIRE Cyberse ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 200

You can only use this effect of "Salamangreat Jack Jaguar" once per turn.

A Salamangreat monster with decent ATK stats with Piercing effect. Another great effect of Jack Jaguar will allows you to shuffle any Salamangreat monster including Extra Deck Salamangreat Monsters from the graveyard back into the Deck except another copy of itself, and if goes in the Deck Jack Jaguar can Special Summons itself from the graveyard.

Salamangreat Foxy
Salamangreat Foxy
FIRE Cyberse ★3
ATK 1000 / DEF 1200
Soulburner [SR]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck, and if you do, you can add 1 excavated "Salamangreat" card to your hand, also shuffle the rest into the Deck. If this card is in your GY, and a face-up Spell/Trap is on the field: You can discard 1 "Salamangreat" card; Special Summon this card, then you can destroy 1 face-up Spell/Trap on the field. You can only use 1 "Salamangreat Foxy" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

First effect which similars to Pot of Duality's search effect on its Normal Summon, or bring it back from the graveyard (with maybe pops a face-up backrow) by discarding 1 Salamangreat card which is good against Decks that strategy relies on a Field Spell or a Continuous Spell/Trap like Infernity or Dark Magician.

Salamangreat Falco
Salamangreat Falco
FIRE Cyberse ★4
ATK 1200 / DEF 1600
Link Revolution [R]
If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 "Salamangreat" Spell/Trap in your GY; Set that target to your field. You can only use 1 "Salamangreat Falco" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

While Falco hits the graveyard, it can allows you to set any Salamangreat Spell/Trap from your Grave. You can also use its Second Effect to return 1 other Salamangreat monster to your hand (not for the Extra Deck) to special summon Falco itself. Keep in mind that you can only use 1 effect per turn.

Salamangreat Fowl
Salamangreat Fowl
FIRE Cyberse ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 1200
Link Revolution [R]
If a "Salamangreat" monster(s), except "Salamangreat Fowl" is Normal or Special Summoned to your field (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can send 1 "Salamangreat" card from your hand or face-up field to the GY, then target 1 Set Spell/Trap your opponent controls; that Set card cannot be activated this turn.

First effect is a combo extender while you have Normal or Special Summon 1 other Salamangreat monster to your Field (except Damage Step). The great one is Fowl's second effect which can freeze a backrow of your opponent control by send 1 "Salamangreat" card from your hand or face-up field and this effect is not limited to once per turn.

Salamangreat Meer
Salamangreat Meer
FIRE Cyberse ★2
ATK 800 / DEF 600
Link Revolution [R]
If this card is added to your hand, except by drawing it for your normal draw: You can reveal this card; Special Summon it from your hand. If this card is in your hand: You can discard 1 other "Salamangreat" card; Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use each effect of "Salamangreat Meer" once per turn.

Another options combo extender when you didn't manage to draw out Gazelle. You can special summon Meer while it is added to your hand except by your normal draw with revealing itself from your hand. Or you can discard 1 other "Salamangreat" card to special summon itself, this effect may trigger other Salamangreat Monsters' effect for combo play.

Salamangreat Sanctuary

Salamangreat Sanctuary
Salamangreat Sanctuary
Field Spell
Soulburner [SR]

Extra Decks

Abyss Dweller
Abyss Dweller
WATER Sea Serpent ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 1400
Photons of Galaxy [UR]
Selection Box Vol.03 Mini [UR] [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
While this card has an Xyz Material attached that was originally WATER, all WATER monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; any card effects that activate in your opponent's Graveyard cannot be activated this turn.

Abyss Dweller is an anti-Graveyard interaction tech, intended to hinder Decks that activate a ton of effects from the graveyard. It's best to activate this at the start of the opponent's turn, so make sure to toggle Chain to "ON" and activate Abyss Dweller's effect during the opponent's Draw Phase.

Number 70: Malevolent Sin
Number 70: Malevolent Sin
DARK Insect ★4
ATK 2400 / DEF 1200
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.

Summon Malevolent Sin if you need a non-destruction form of removal. Malevolent Sin temporarily banishes a monster, possibly opening your opponent up for direct attacks. Another thing to note is that banishing an Xyz monster gets rid of all their Xyz materials.

Ningirsu the World Chalice Warrior
Ningirsu the World Chalice Warrior
EARTH Warrior
ATK 2500 / DEF 3
Link Revolution [UR]
2+ Link Monsters
If this card is Link Summoned: Draw cards equal to the number of "World Chalice" monsters this card points to. You can only use this effect of "Ningirsu the World Chalice Warrior" once per turn. Once per turn: You can send 1 card from each player's field to the GYs. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 "World Chalice" monster from your hand.

Ningirsu has an awesome effect, non targeting non destruction removal which is good to counter against Monster that cannot be targeted or destroyed.

Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf
Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf
FIRE Cyberse
ATK 1800 / DEF 2
Soulburner at Lvl 7, 14, and 18 [UR]
2 FIRE Effect Monsters
If a monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to the zone(s) this card points to (except during the Damage Step): You can add 1 FIRE monster from your GY to your hand, but for the rest of this turn, you cannot Normal Summon/Set or Special Summon monsters with the added monster's name. During your Main Phase, if you control this card that was Link Summoned using "Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf" as material: You can add 1 "Salamangreat" Spell/Trap from your GY to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf" once per turn.

A Link 2 Salamangreat Monster with 1800 ATK stats with powerful recycling effect. If a monster is Normal or Special Summoned to a zone it points to, you can add any FIRE monster back from your Grave which means you can recycle Gazelle or any other Salamangreat monster but you cannot summon monsters with the same name for the rest of the turn.

When a Sunlight Wolf summoned using another copy of itself will lets you add a Salamangreat Spell/Trap from the grave back to your hand for free every turn, which means that as long as you have 1 Roar in rotation the opponent will have to deal with it every single turn.

Salamangreat Balelynx
FIRE Cyberse
ATK 500 / DEF 1
Soulburner [UR]
1 Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster
If this card is Link Summoned: You can add 1 "Salamangreat Sanctuary" from your Deck to your hand. If a "Salamangreat" card(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead. You can only use each effect of "Salamangreat Balelynx" once per turn.

A free Salamangreat Sanctuary Searcher while it is Link Summoned. While Balelynx is in your Grave, you can banish this card to protect a Salamangreat card from being destroyed by battle or card effect.

Other Cards Option

D.D. Crow

D.D. Crow
D.D. Crow
DARK Winged Beast ★1
ATK 100 / DEF 100
Shining Hope [UR]
Selection Box Vol.05 [UR]
During either player's turn: You can discard this card to the Graveyard to target 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard; banish that target.

A Disruptive Tech in current Meta.

Techs

Warning Point
Warning Point
Normal Trap
Link Revolution [UR]
When a monster(s) is Summoned: This turn, that face-up monster(s) cannot attack, its effects are negated, also it cannot be used as material for a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summon.

Great Discruptive Trap by negating 1 face-up monster's effect with block attack while it is Summoned, also prevent it from being using as Extra Deck Summon material.

Crackdown
Crackdown
Continuous Trap
Selection Box Vol.02 Super Mini [UR]
Activate by targeting 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; take control of that monster. While you control that monster, it cannot attack or activate effects. When that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.

Snatch 1 monster your opponent control is not only a great disruption to your opponent but also can use that monster for your Link Summoning which is also good in Mirror Match.

Karma Cut
Karma Cut
Normal Trap
Arena of Sanctuary [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [SR]
Discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; banish that target, then banish all cards with the same name as that monster from your opponent's Graveyard.

A pretty good monster removal that also has an added benefit of removing multiple copies of them if they're also in the graveyard. Great against the mirror match, or other decks that uses same name monsters, but good in general too. You can trigger Gazelle's effect with Karma Cut too as Special Summon for combo starter.

Salamangreat Roar

Salamangreat Roar
Salamangreat Roar
Counter Trap
Soulburner at Lvl 21 [UR]
When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated while you control a "Salamangreat" Link Monster: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. While this card is in the GY, if a "Salamangreat" Link Monster is Link Summoned to your field using a monster with its same name as material: You can Set this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use 1 "Salamangreat Roar" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

A Powerful Cyberse version "Infernity Barrier" without 0 hand card condition restrict while you control a Salamangreat Link Monster. It can be recycled easily by using Falco or Sunlight Wolf effect which gives you powerful board control for each turn.

Other Extra Decks

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon
Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon
DARK Dragon ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Phantom of Rebellion [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes half its current ATK, and if it does, this card gains that lost ATK.

General Rank 4 Xyz Monster for players to use so far. Its effect essentially lets you deal 2500 (its own ATK) damage if this attacks the monster you targeted. The advantage is that your opponent's monster's ATK is also lowered, allowing you to attack over it with your other weaker monsters.

Steelswarm Roach
Steelswarm Roach
DARK Fiend ★4
ATK 1900 / DEF 0
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
During either player's turn, when a Level 5 or higher monster would be Special Summoned: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the Special Summon, and if you do, destroy it.

Roach is great for monster suppression, much like a Trap Hole card. When your opponent summons a boss monster, use Roach's effect to immediately destroy it. This is an especially good counter against Mekk-Knight or Synchro Decks. But most of the time, just Roach's presence on the field is enough to deter the opponent from making big monsters.

Salamangreat Heatleo
Salamangreat Heatleo
FIRE Cyberse
ATK 2300 / DEF 3
Link Revolution [UR]
2+ FIRE Effect Monsters
If this card is Link Summoned: You can target 1 card in your opponent's Spell & Trap Zone; shuffle it into the Deck. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if this card was Link Summoned using "Salamangreat Heatleo" as material: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field and 1 monster in your GY; the ATK of the first target becomes equal to the other target's, until the end of this turn.

A Salamangreat Version of Decode Talker which shuffle a card in the opponent’s Spell/Trap zone into the Deck instead of sending it to the Grave while Heatleo is Link Summoned. This effect is not limited to once per turn which means you can utilize with Salamangreat Sanctuary's effect by Link Summoning other copies of Heatleo with itself. However, the backrow shuffle effect will not prevent the targeted spell/trap activation which means it can chains by activating effect in case.

Heatleo that linked summon by Santuary's method will gains another efffect that can makes the attack of a monster on the field equal to the one of a monster in your Graveyard, so it can both allows your monsters get bigger and your opponent’s get smaller depending on the situation.

Update Jammer
Update Jammer
WIND Cyberse
ATK 2000 / DEF 2
Duelist Kingdom: Link Into Vrains! [UR]
2 Level 2 or higher Cyberse monsters
Once per battle, during damage calculation, if your Cyberse monster battles (Quick Effect): You can activate this effect; negate all other card effects on the field until the end of the Damage Step, damage calculation for this battle uses each monster's original ATK/DEF, also if an opponent's monster is destroyed by this battle and sent to the GY, inflict 500 damage to your opponent. If this card is sent to the GY as Link Material: That Link Monster can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn.

Mainly used as Link Material for Link Monster to gain Double Attack Effect.

no luck, they will ban void trap hole and traptrix trap hole nightmare though to make the deck more playable. also adding 2 more great roars next update.

I don't see how this deck is tier 1, its win condition is basically Salamangreat Roar and link monsters are pretty weak both in effects and ATK value. It has great spamming potential but basically for a monster with more than 2300 ATK you have to relie on the backrow trap cards. At least it's not a deck built around the character skill but it's also far from op

what do I need to read? the ATK changing effect only works once per turn and only in your Main Phase, what are you supposed to do against a generic blue eyes deck? a deck which relies on 7 backrow cards is as good as any. this deck loses against decks which are not even tiered. you want proof of a solid deck in DL? look at the old Invoked deck before all its cards were limited

Bad deck
The deck is actually not good at all. There are many many stronger decks running around. It would be very stupid to nerf it.
Salamangreat
Very fair deck. It’s good but not overpowered. No reason to limit a single card in this deck.
Salad lover
Perfectly balanced deck. Not too strong. No need to nerf it.
Makia
i don't understand the win condition for this deck...i supose is to recicle roar in every turn, but the link cards are weak to attack... even i see versions with one Heatleo..this deck is becoming the old Shiranui , full of traps...

Wincon is spamming roar or using heatleo to swap atk values and beat over things

Fowl will most likely be banned or restricted since it's like trunade. Rest of the deck is lame IMO with plenty of ways to disrupt this deck.

Good question I think the ai looks for moves you can only do with skills. Since it has nothing it gets a Cloudia fart in its ROM. Or because the players that just run the timer out make ai behave the same.

It's a play on Solomon, occult reference everywhere in this game. It could just be that they are flamers and Salamander is reference to dragons.
