How to use this deck

General

The key to use this deck is to firsthand know how The Unhappy Girl and Holy Guard work together. During your turn, you can attack any monster with the Unhappy Girl to make them unable to attack or change positions. Thanks to Holy Guard, you take no damage provided that the battle damage was dealt during your turn.

You stall throughout and deal the massive blow to your opponent on the last turn so as to achieve the "Cards on the brink" and "More than 5000 damage dealt" assessment.

What happens if Unhappy Girl is not in my hand?

If Unhappy Girl is not in your starting hand, you can try to prolong the duel by using cards such as the following:

  • Windstorm of Etaqua
    *Windstorm of Etaqua is your go-to card for any attack negation when Ishuzu attacks your Unhappy Girl.
  • Curse of Anubis
    *Curse of Anubis is similar to Windstorm of Etaqua but more likely for situations where you do not have your Unhappy Girl on the field. Doing so with her on the field will reset the effects of the Unhappy Girl, allowing Ishizu to attack you with her current monsters again.
  • Ready for Intercepting
    *Ready for Intercepting can be used defensively. It can block an instance of attack and it can also force the selected monster to remain face-down as long as the effects of Unhappy Girl persist.
  • Enchanted Javelin
    *Enchanted Javelin helps to sustain your LP which is critical as Ishizu may attack your Unhappy Girl even if the damage dealt will not be lethal. This card is considered as a back-up for situations like the abovementioned.

Preparations before the final turn

  • Temple of the Kings must be present in order to summon Mystical Beast of Serket, otherwise Mystical Beast of Serket will be automatically destroyed, so keep that in mind. In the event that Temple of the Kings happens to be the last card in your deck, you can set Serket first and then flip it next turn. To be safe, you should immediately use the effect of Temple of the Kings to special summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon as soon as the criterias are met. It must stay on the field before the final turn.

On your final turn

Normal summon Gravekeeper's Vassal and activate Secret Pass to the Treasures and use it on the Gravekeeper's Vassal, followed by Union Attack. This way, it is able to deal direct "effect" damage of 5200 to your opponent.

(MY english is no good sorry) This is the version than I use, normaly i I got 7900 (No damgae in my LP), use a prismatic card to get 8100, my prismatic is enemy controler (replacing 1 Ready for intercept). I use 2 Union attack but if you have only one you can use a Spell Reclamation, and my Extra Deck have BEUD

last turn order:
1. Use Summoner of Illusions and sacrifice Unhappy girl to Summon BEUD (You need to set SoI only when you have 1 card left in your deck)
2. Summon Relinquished using SoI as sacrifice.
3. Summon Gravekeeper Vassal and use Murmur of the Forest to remove Necrovalley
4. Use Union Attack and Secret Pass to the Treasures on Gravekeeper Vassal, and last use Relenquished

Just finished using this. It's extremely consistent. Messed up the first time due to user error: I wanted to free up a S/T zone on the last turn and chained Ready For Interception into Murmur of the Forest. Stupid mistake that others could learn from.

Anyone play ishizu and she just decks out...first time it happened to me. Not sure if I should add shard of greed to prevent that.

If you play 2-3 Unhappy girl , crash rei-mei to get more Unhappy girl in your hand (Speed ​​up the deck)dont care if you already have Unhappy gilr in the field,
if you have only 1 then use shard of greed

Pot of belvonece ( i cant spell it) could help u... it lets you pick 2 cards from any graveyard and puts back in owners deck.

thing is, if you run pot of benevolence, which is really useful (to get more cards, to return a 🔥ed up use of a card), but necrovalley negates the effect of the pot, so you'd need spritualism or twister/de-spell as well to return necrovalley to hand or destroy it. shard may just clog your hand..

95% is an exaggeration there are do many instances where this deck won't work. There's a gravekeeper that keeps you from destroying necrovalley and even if you don't draw a Rai Mei on the first turn IShizu will 🔥 you anyways. Still need 3 unhappy maidens

Alternative if you didnt have union. Got 3 GK chief with this, and no priestess fak. Just make sure to remove necrovalley so that you can active chu chulain effect

bl. meteor dragon will fit aswell right? 700 (vassal)+ 800 (sum. of ill.) + 3500 (bl meteor dr.) = 5000 x 2 (secret pass) = 10000

I think wrecker panda is a good way to farm her, i played against her 6 times and just lost 1 time because i was the second to play and she did a combo with rite of spirit, priestess and oracle in the third turn the one shoted me, you can consistently gain 6-7k duel assessments with this deck, or a variety

Can you explain how this deck works I never really face ishizu but I'm going to start so I can get her SR cards but how does this work I get wrecker panda keeps getting stronger using all those high level monsters so do you just get hit use earth effect to get panda and then what just keep killing every one of her monsters? How does it give you 6-7k ? Is it Just by killing them? I'm lost

This deck works pretty good unless your luck is bad, and unfortunately, my luck is terrible. I went 8 or 9 times in a row where I activated its effect and discarded a spell/trap card, even after I increased the number of high lvl monsters to decrease my chances of doing so.
