Pros

Destroys face up spell/trap cards.
If it's destroyed when it is set, it can destroy any face up spell/trap/field-spell/monster on the field.

Cons

Targeted spell/trap cards must be face-up.
Opponent can set a spell/trap card which can be activated immediately if it's a quick-play spell.

Tips, related cards, skills

You can use cards like Magical Hats or Storm to destroy it when it's face down so you can destroy a card.

This card can also be used to destroy opponent's Mirror Wall when they used it on their turn.

The second effect of the card never work from what i saw, dont know why it's rate so high.

This is true, sadly...... It doesn't work even it's destroyed by a trap card.

If it gets destroyed by battle it's not set, meaning that its effect won't activate.

Does this car even work?

I tried negating enemy controller with it and it destroyed enemy controller but only after it took effect already, then the next battle I tried to negate gravekeeper's stele with this card, and also it destroyed the card but the opposing player still was able to add 2 gravekeeper's monsters from his graveyard to his hand...

thanks for clarifying, I would assume that if you destroy a trap card, it would also destroy its effect

so basically only useful against continuous traps/spells and equip spells?

This is why everyone hates trap jammer, because it negates and destroys trap cards and has the bonus of being a counter trap (it can only be chained by other counter traps) or magic jammer being an UR since it NEGATES and destroys the magic card activated

For example if you chain this card with a skull lair, it will resolve the skull lair effect and then destroys it. Thats the difference between destroy and negate.

This card will be an auto-include. Until the new characters start to use less field spell skills, and then everyone slowly switches to Switcheroo/Restart shenanigan decks.

Daedalus isn't even good in the current meta. No high level Mako deck uses it.
