Dark Magician on his own is really not that impressive being a Normal monster with below average stats. What makes him good is the amount of powerful support that is used alongside him.

Good thing its not alone right. we have a skill to start with 1 dm in hand. we have things like Nights end's that can banish stuff from their grave. We already. So pretty much free win ver SUB-Terrors

Jesus Christ... this is the most broken card I have ever seen. I would really like to know why in all hell they release crap like this for players completely immune to the forbidden list, without thinking. The second effect is the most bizarre thing I have ever seen.

How is this broken? Its pretty much the same as Neos fusion. You need to have DM on the field to activate it from the graveyard. Can be counter with Sealed Tombs and banish effects or just destroy the DM with TTH. Not as broken as Six Sams though. Shi En is broken.

1 you need dm in hand or it will just be a dead card 2 at this meta every thing can beat a 2500 beater easy ag,be,slash,sub terror list goes on 3 backrow dealing cards good luck activating it before your turn ends

The eff description on this card is really bad, compared with today's TCG cards. It doesn't make clear that you can negate the activation of a spell card. Either that or this card is not working as intended.

If it is working as intended why then, for instance, Unending Nightmare cannot destroy a trap card during its activation (subterror final battle, for example)?

I know that a card during activation is face up on the field, makes you think that only permanent face up spells would be negated.

I've beaten 3 dojo Econ six sams Last season kogged again early this month with be.. but there's a new quick play in new box for six sams and they can bow beat blue eyes easily check new way to play six sams it's back negates atk reduce another's atk.. can't just summon your big beater and swing over a shien with duel wield being lone backrow now

This card's effect is a Quick-like effect.
There are hundreds cards like this in the TCG/OCG, many of them are already in Duel Links, notably Survival's End
