Dark Magician on his own is really not that impressive being a Normal monster with below average stats. What makes him good is the amount of powerful support that is used alongside him.

You can't use this card's second effect in the same turn this card is sent to the Graveyard. My guess is that's what you do, you wanted to chain TTH with this card on the same turn this card goes to the Graveyard, but you see no prompt to do so.

Ultimately he's not too important, at least not for now. Night end sorcerer opens synchro plays and messes with the gy, but he can miss timing if navigation is chained to something.

If it was a Spell, its negation effect would be much weaker (since you couldn't chain it to anything), so it'd probably be a much worse card honestly.

Blue eyes had won tcg world championship 2016 but dm deck never won world championship and I'm sure Blue eyes will be used in this year's World finals too.. dm needs structure deck to be competitive

Blue eyes actually won 2016 tcg world championship and will be shown in duel links 2019 world's too as for dark magician it doesn't have the supports the best trap being eternal soul gets countered by dragon spirit of white and ofcourse 3k>2500 dark magician always need extra resources to take out Blue eyes

You need to have 1 dark magician in your hand before you can activate this card. This card is useless on its own and you are forced to play trick up the sleeves.

Good card yet too slow popping out 2 DM is nice but BE, Neos, RE still run them over and cluttering the DM deck with 1000 knives and DM Attack and rod won't make it better

What other dm cards are their if there are other sr dm card's then we'll see.. this ur alone changes nothing a stucturue deck is definitely needed for dm to turn it into meta along with another Main box supports like blue eyes had
