Pros

  • Special summons itself.
  • Unaffected by all card effects.
  • Can gain a large attack stat.
  • Retrieves an Exodia part every turn.
  • Draw effect.

Cons

  • Requires lots of graveyard setup to have a significant attack stat.
  • Retrieving Exodia parts diminishes own attack.
  • The individual Forbidden one cards are not very good.

Tips

Skills

This is currently the only way to get the Forbidden One cards in your deck which you need to use any of The Legendary Exodia Incarnate’s effects.

Graveyard Setup

Use these cards to get the Exodia parts into your graveyard to boost The Legendary Exodia Incarnate’s attack, and to later retrieve for Exodia’s win condition. Lightsworn monsters are able to mill your deck easily so you can use some to setup your graveyard.

Unexpected Dai

Use this card to search the Exodia limbs from your deck and tribute it to summon The Legendary Exodia Incarnate.

Quick Retreive

Use The Legendary Exodia Incarnate to retrieve the “head” of the Forbidden One as it is the only effect monster. You can then retrieve the rest of the Exodia parts with cards like Backup Soldier or Dark Factory of Mass Production.

Wait for the Epic Yami event to return.

This card will lose 1000 ATK on each of your end phase, but since it is unaffected by other card your opponent cannot destroy or banish it with card effect, which means it can only be destroyed by battle.

I'll try this deck concept:
3x The Legendary Exodia Incarnate
3x Sangan
3x Winged Kuriboh
3x Unexpected Dai
3x Flute of The Summoning Kuriboh
3x Hallowed Life Barrier
2x Backup Soldier
skill : Grandpa's Card

The idea is to summon Incarnate and stall until you have enough Exodia pieces in your hand or to use Backup Soldier later to add them back to your hand. Unexpected Dai can special summon Exodia normal monster from your deck for Incarnate's tribute. Sangan can search for Exodia pieces including the Head (Legion or Blue Dragon Summoner cannot search the head since the head is an effect monster). Hallowed Life Barrier can discard Exodia card as well as protect your Incarnate from being destroyed by battle. Winged Kuriboh + Flute is for stalling and thinning the deck

No it doesnt it keeps the ATK dude... thats why it so good you can just keep exodia monsters in the grave to have it becoome a powerhouse until it gets destroyed by battle hallowed CAN keep exodia alive while you can possibly ditch another exodia piece to grave alot of ways you can make this deck viable.

I also wonder whether or not Power of the Guardians can protect this card from battle. Sure it won't gain attack from the equip since it's unaffected by card effect, but I think Power of Guardian's counter could still be used to prevent battle destruction

Its effect of adding Exodia piece from the graveyard to your hand is mandatory, which means its ATK will always be reduced by 1000 during each of your end phase (thus become 0 ATK if you don't have any Exodia in your graveyard). This card is not supposed to be a powerhouse, it is just for stalling and drawing engine for your Exodia deck

Why not add needlebug nest instead of grass looks greener?

I wanted to clarify a few things I was able to test:

Power of the Guardians does protect a monster, even if that monster is unaffected by card effects. Counters are also still placed on it when the monster attacks or is attacked, but its ATK does not increase.

Sangan can't search The Legendary Exodia Incarnate because "?" is not a defined number.

It’s suppose to be a super guard for exodia but the main issue is via battle. Now you can slap a power of the guardian on it and put it in defense mode but every meta deck right now has a form of back row removal. It introduced a defend the castle play style but needs more outside, non searchable, non archetype support to fill in the missing gaps.

Decent gimmick for Exodia decks.

Needs Exodius

Pros:
1. Complete Immunity to other cards effects.
2. Gains 1000 ATK per Exodia Card in GY (máx 5000 ATK if all Exodia Cards are on Graveyard)

Cons:
1. Need to Tribute a Exodia Card to summon him.
2. Since it brings back a Exodia piece from GY, it will lose 1000 ATK due to his own effect.
3. His effect upon destruction would be nice, if we had more copies of Exodia.
4. If your opponent banish the Exodia Cards in your Graveyard, this card will become a 0 ATK monster. Immune to effects, but still...

It's a special summon by tribute, not a normal summon. So it isn't a CONS.
This card is useful to gain some time. Main goal still should be to collect all 5 pieces.
Deck can have some cards to recover from ban zone.

"His effect upon destruction would be nice, if we had more copies of Exodia." That' can't be a pro nor con considering that exodia will always gonna be a limited to 1 copy of each pieace forever.
Drake
If they add this card, this monster would have a bit more usefulness.
