Dark World monsters activate their effects when discarded by a card effect, with additional effects if they are discarded by your opponent’s card effect. The high leveled ones such as Lucent, Latinum, and Gold are Special Summoned when discarded, putting powerful beaters on your field. They also have some good consistency boosting cards in the form of Snoww, Broww, and The Gates of Dark World.
Here are some cards that let you discard and trigger the effects of Dark World monsters.
Call of the Archfiend is a key card in Archfiend decks that can be slotted into other Fiend decks with high-leveled monsters.
Into the Void can let you activate the effects of Dark World monsters enmasse during the End Phase of the turn it was activated.
Dragged Down into the Grave and Dark Smog can disrupt the resources in your opponent’s hand and graveyard respectively. Dark Deal disrupts your opponent’s Spell Card activation and instead turns it into something very beneficial to Dark World monsters.
Fabled Raven can discard Goldd to increase his own level and revive Goldd together making a level-8 Synchro monster.
