Pros

Special summons any banished DARK monster that can be special summoned with no restriction of level or type.

Cons

If this card is destroyed, the monster is destroyed as well.
Destroyed monsters are banished again, preventing abilities that activate when they are sent to the graveyard.
Can only special summon a DARK monster that is banished.

Tips

In a deck filled with DARK type monsters, you can use cards like Wonder Balloons, Bazoo the Soul-Eater, Creeping Darkness or The Beginning of the End to use with this card. There are also cards that makes good use out of banished monsters like Chaos End or Graverobber's Retribution.

How come half the time I summon a card with EFTDD, when the monster is destroyed EFTDD stays on the field wasting a spot? Is this a bug that they just haven't patched for quite a while now?

Probably because your monster wasn't destroyed? You likely Tributed it or something.

b/c u tributed. such as e-con take tribute, ritual, tribute summon, return to hand..etc

It cannot target a monster banished face-down, as it is not clear whether the target is really DARK or not during targeting.

if so then it would be cool to get a free card from your opponent and be able to special summon your dark magician of chaos :D

if i were to use creeping darkness to banish DARK NECROFEAR, can i use escape from the dark dimension to special summon it?

nvm. i misunderstood.

would using tribute to the doomed; sending necrofear to the graveyard, then activating escape dark dimension work to special summon necrofear?

Creeping Darkness is u banish 2 from your grave and add 1 from deck to hand so if necrofear was sent from the field to the grave you can banish it and re summon it with Escape from the Dark Dimension

would using tribute to the doomed sending dark necrofear to the graveyard, work to special summon it with doom shaman?

wondering if there is a way to special summon dark necrofear without playing it on the field first?

it's Supreme King Dragon zarc was banished from the extra deck and then special summon using this card would the activation still work?

Supreme King Z-ARC isn't going to be in this game for a very long time, but to answer your question, no because it has to be Summoned by Fusion Summon, and this card doesn't ignore summoning conditions

Depends. If Dark Necrofear was banished (either from the field or the grave) after it was Special Summoned by its own effect, then it does work.

Dark necrofear can not be special summoned/set only through its conditions

It worked with dark necrofear, im using the deck tho, just discard powerfull dark Fiend cards and special summon dark necro by banishing the monster in the graveyard, and then use this card to special summon banished powerfull dark monster

Does EFTDD synergize with a toon deck? toon kingdoom banishes cards face down so I don't know if that counts.

basically you don't know and won't be know the attribute of banished card so you can't use it

Awkward question

What if the banished monster was used for tribute? That technically isnt "destroyed" by battle so would the trap card stay on the field forever?

In the description doesn't say that the monster must be a monster that has been destroyed in battle..

No what he meant was that after you special summon the banished monster this card stays on the field until that monster is destroyed, but if you tribute that monster the trap stays face up on the field forever if it isn't destroyed somehow.

ya, it would become a dead card on the field. The situation is similar to the battle against Yugi Muto when he uses his order to charge on a monster that is revived from the trap.

No because even though it is a dark attribute monster it can only be special summoned through it's own effect.

I think the cad is bugged had some fights where it stayed on the field waisting a spot ( not cool since you only have 3 zones )...
brought my winged minion back to tribute it for my summoned skull, happend more then once.
