Agents were practically always paired up with T.G’s back in the day, so they mostly used TG tuners and synchros rather than needing their own

Ehhh, Venus for that purpose is highly questionable. There’s so much brick potential playing it as a “god card engine” and hoping you open up with exactly 3 cards you need out of 4 in your opening hand- while playing 3 dead draws in your deck

Venus is good for Xyz monsters and great for Link monsters. But in the current DL meta it's just bad or gimmicky at its best
