Tips

Attribute Change

DNA Transplant changes all monsters on the field to DARK attribute so that Palladium Oracle Mahad can double his attack no matter what he battles. Aside from DNA Transplant there are also some other less efficient attribute changing effects such as Scroll of Bewitchment and the Genex Ally cards.

Special Summon only seems to work if you draw it during your own turn, can anyone else confirm this?

With the skill light & dark you cannot special summon him anymore...so basically mahad is useless already

If anyone is question why this isn't activating when you draw your first hand it's because the duel hasn't technically began, yet. My question and concern is 9/10 duel's I'm drawing 1-2 of the 2 I have in my deck. I've been playing this card fairly consistently since it came out and it's been the same issue since day 1. Also, I've been using Sera and her Reload ability quite a bit since unlocking it. When you pop Reload and draw into Palladium it doesn't proc. Since it's 5 turns in isn't it safe to say the duel has begun? The skill has the exact same wording as the card "Add all the cards in your hand to your Deck and shuffle it. Then
-DRAW- the same number of cards that you added to your Deck." They either need to fix the mechanic's of the ability or the wording, imo.

Skills don't directly activate card effects, iirc.

Same reason why Tyranno Hassleberry's Dino DNA skill doesn't activate Aromage monsters' "when you gain LP" effect.

Someone pointed out since he is a “high prority” card he most likely will be in your starting hand vs drawing it. Duel Links apparently doesn’t follow normal RNG, this is more apparent with the skill Switcheroo when switching out a high priority card, that’s why sometimes you get the same card back. I’m sure someone on here is more capable of explaining Konami’s bs than me.

Someone should collect some data on that phenomenon and calculate if it's a coincidence or if the usual rng is really violated. But we would probably need datas from 1000 or more duels

well, I'm still digging old box for my second Ultimate Providence (R card) and already spent 5200 gems but still not get it.. RNG, you know..

Can i Special Summon a Magician of Chaos from the graveyard with this card all the time or is it required to Ritual Summon it first?

You have to Ritual Summon it first.

Being named "Dark Magician" doesn't automatically change the card type too, Magician of Chaos is still a Ritual monster, not a Normal monster.

If this guy is in your opening hand, try using Plaguespreader Zombie's effect in the graveyard to throw it back on the top of your deck for your next draw.
