Tips

Attribute Change

DNA Transplant changes all monsters on the field to DARK attribute so that Palladium Oracle Mahad can double his attack no matter what he battles. Aside from DNA Transplant there are also some other less efficient attribute changing effects such as Scroll of Bewitchment and the Genex Ally cards.

No, since it says "Dark Magician", not "Dark Magician monster".

"Dark Magician" here is referred as that specific card, the vanilla monster, not as an archetype.

I had lost games out of nowhere by a lucky attack on a dark monster. Hate this card. I still remember before some months when I was in 4 win streak to kog and my opponent top decked it and just run over a magician rod I had face up on the field and had over 2000 lp and a dark cavarly. Still seeing nightmares.

Do you use A Trick Up the Sleeve or other skills that prevent you from special summoning?

If a dark meta deck Arise this will see play in the best character that can use it. Yamiu yugi with his skill destiny draw.

can i trigger mahad's effect when using magic mallet? say returning 3 mahad and getting like 2 or 3 of them back? can i summon more than 1?

It's a "When....You Can" effect, so the draw has to be the last thing to happen.

Solar Recharge has milling effect happening after the draw, so Mahad's effect misses the timing.

the special summon from hand has a lower activation priority if you opponent's deck contains more main-box UR than yours.

Maybe this is what happened to you.

Auto duel, that's your issue.

Auto Duel AI is crap. It's an optional effect, so the AI is not forced to summon Mahad, and sometimes, it chooses not to.

Never knew there was activation priorities in this game. Thanks for letting me know that Ultra Rare have less trouble activating if they come from main boxes.
