Level Up! Is the most useful card to quickly summon Armed Dragon LV10 out from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. Level Modulation can only be used if your Armed Dragon LV10 was Special Summoned correctly without using Level Up!, you can Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10 from your graveyard, ignoring its summoning conditions.

Since Armed Dragon LV10 is able to clear all face-up monsters your opponent controls, you can consider using Stamping Destruction to manage their backrow Spell/Traps to reduce the hindrance during your attack.

Tips

  • Very important to know that, you must Tribute 1 “Armed Dragon LV7” from your field to Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10 from your hand. You cannot attack with “Armed Dragon LV7” and Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10 from your Deck during your End Phase.
  • You can use Kidmodo Dragon to Special Summon Armed Dragon LV5 from your hand, and then either use it to attack, or use Level Up! To Special Summon Armed Dragon LV7 from your hand or deck, then use another Level Up! To Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10 from your hand or deck.
  • Due to the tedious process to get this monster out to the field, it is very challenging to be used in the current competitive meta.

this card's effect is great but the deck would brick too much. by the time you get this guy out it can be floodgated and you would have almost certainly exhausted your plays! meme card at best to be played against standard duelists!!

Easy? EASY ? What if your first hand is full of LV5 and LV7? Or LV5, LV7 and Spells/Traps? The only way to not brick and lose in 2 turns is when you have LV3 and Mirror Wall or Super Rush in your first hand.

this is why monster doesnt matter, just build with 3 srh, 3 econ, 3 mw, 3 wod, 3 sergeant, the rest doesnt matter you can include hero, gb, ag, or even armed dragon, and if you do, congrats you have become noob staple duelist that hiding in your backrow.thanks

GameA please update the page. Level up does not work. If you level up on Lv7 it gives you Lv5. Possible bug but Lv5 is in Lv7 card text so probably not.

Definitely not a bug. Armed Dragon Lvl 10 is not in Armed Dragon Lvl 7's level up effect so Level Up doesn't work on it.

Just like a lot of people here mentioned, it's too slow. You can run it if you want a big beater and a Lightning Vortex effect at all times, but you can also discard it for lvl 5 and 7 effects if you want to.

It truly is a powerful card, it just requires too much investment when it's not that much better than LV7. Plus running it means you run the risk of opening LV7 and LV10, and the even LV5. It just adds potential clog. Run it for fun if you'd like, but be prepared for the potential clog :p
