Not much useful since the scope of card effect that this card can deal with is too narrow.

Pros

Able to negate a spell card without any cost unlike Magic Jammer.

The requirement to activate this card is very conditional.

So I just fought Kaiba and I have this card on the Field and it wouldn't let me activate it when he used his enemy controller

Enemy controller doesnt target, so this card useless againts it.

both effects of enemy controller contain the words "target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls", so riryoku field can intercept them.

The cards are rotated out once per 12 hrs.

No, it will not counter Ritual Spells because A. It says 1 monster on the field, and it "targets" (not really) the Monster in the hand the whole time, also it doesn't target monsters, it works sort of like Order to Charge. When the effect resolves, tribute the monsters and summon the Monster.

Kaiba

Will this card counter enemy controller (both effects) or order to charge? Order to charge targets 2 monsters overall as does the tributing effect of e-con so I'm not sure.

This card will counter both effects of enemy controller, because both effects target one of your monsters. This card will not counter order to charge because order doesn't target your monster until the order to charge resolves. By the time order to charge resolves, it's too late to activate riryoku field.

^^Dont believe this guy. It will counter order to charge, I test it out. I put 3 riryoku field in my deck just to test it against Dino decks and it does counter order to charge

As soon as they play order to charge and target their monster you can activate riryoku field

no, it won't. Riryoku targets 2 monsters, so riryoku field is (ironically) useless.

How do you get this card to activate? Enemy control changed my monster to defense and it didn't activate.

May be a bug on how it will not trigger from battle position or the fact that it changed every monsters battle position. It had to be a target effect.

Bcz u cant activate a trap card the same turn u place it.
