Not much useful since the scope of card effect that this card can deal with is too narrow.

Pros

Able to negate a spell card without any cost unlike Magic Jammer.

The requirement to activate this card is very conditional.

no it cant, lv up doesnt target, it just sends something away, which is why you can summon horus lv8 even thought lv6 is immune to spells.

This doesn't work anymore. It doesn't work on defence position change anymore.. final round of kaiba i attack he uses econ i counter with this card he goes again with econ i think excellent it'll counter again nope... def position out of cards game over

It won't counter econ effect #2 because it targets 2 monsters. But it should work against econ's first effect.

I don't really see why this card doesn't work against toon world or riryoku. Very unfortunate.

Because those cards don't specifically target ONE TARGET, they target more than one in the effect.
Riroku targets one of your monsters and one of your opponent's monsters.
The trap specifically states, that it negates a Spell that targets, ONE TARGET.
It should work on OTC because that card's effect targets only one card. tributing is the cost not the effect of the card

This may be my new favorite card. Dawn of destiny put spells over the top. 1 question if I skip the first chance to use it on otc can I use it after he destroys his own guy then targets my guy. I don't want to lose to test it.

This card shouldn't work on Order to Charge at all because otc does not target. That's why otc works on Freed.

The Monster you tribute for activating a card effect is the "cost/requirement/perquisite" to use the effect, it is not the effect of the card.
Such as when you negate it OtC the tributed monster doesn't get refunded.

This card sitting here, abandoned. While being a very precise no cost counter to econ, otc soul exchange meta, and possibly tribute to the doomed. Because people don't want to ruin their deck "balance" or combination of UR and SR because this is a cheap card.

People don't use it because their are other cards that are more effect with a bigger range like ultimate providence

And yet Ultimate Providence requires you to make a 'payment' of a card of the same type as the one being negated. Meanwhile this card requires no payment at all. The only sacrifice is that it's only used to negate spells targeting 1 monster, but as the op mentioned those are all over the meta currently.

You still have to sacrifice 1 card from your hand but at least it can be any card and not the same type as the negated card.

I agree since every pvp deck has at least a srh or even or tribute to the doomed

I dont understand, why nobody use this card? This card counters most common spell in the meta like econ, order to charge, soul exchange, even riryoku. Yet im not seeing this being played in pvp at all.

This card shouldn't technically work on Riryoku, as it targets two monsters, one to decrease atk and one to add. Haven't tried it yet though.

It doesn't counter riryoku, as that effects two monsters. It will work for both effects of econ though, which is really nice.

Order to Charge does bot target
It only hits 1 monster but you don't chose till it resolves

Knowing everyone uses Enemy Controller, Order to Charge, I might add 2 copies of this card for PVP just in case ^_^
