This card sitting here, abandoned. While being a very precise no cost counter to econ, otc soul exchange meta, and possibly tribute to the doomed. Because people don't want to ruin their deck "balance" or combination of UR and SR because this is a cheap card.
And yet Ultimate Providence requires you to make a 'payment' of a card of the same type as the one being negated. Meanwhile this card requires no payment at all. The only sacrifice is that it's only used to negate spells targeting 1 monster, but as the op mentioned those are all over the meta currently.
