Pros

  • Can reduce your opponent monster's attack by half each turn.

Cons

  • Average attack and low defense.
  • Only halves ATK.

Tips

Super Rush Headlong & Wall of Disruption

Since it only reduces your opponent monster's attack, your defensive choices should be ones that don't switch them to defense. Since its effect almost ensures that you can go over their attack, Super Rush Headlong works well if your attacks are negated and have to defend for a turn. Wall of Disruption and/or Mirror Wall can also be very useful for defensive uses.

Gigaplant

Gigaplant’s effect can be a good combo good combo to Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard as you can half the ATK of 1 of your opponent’s face-up monster, giving you a chance to OTK your opponent .

too bad it's not a quick effect... lol

I use this on UAGG from 4200 to 2100, I still can't surpass it's atk. :(

Both good and bad....

On one hand it's the anti brick attacker. Even blue Eyes would lose against it if the bug went after it giving it some use.

On the other hand it isn't too overpowered because the attack loss isn't permeant and it still can be killed by a brick.

I can see some use for it and Bug boy may finally branch out from burn decks with this card... or not.

That's the "if" but riryoku can be used on most monsters making it more versatile

Bee has only a base attack of 1600 making it not as good as a buffed riryoku monster

Bee is better because it's a reusable effect that can attack as well, also protectable with your other cards. Riryoku is easily stopped by an enemy controller, that's why no one runs it.

Maybe combine this with Ryoku for some big damage if you are cleared to go in?

....who runs riryoku, dont worry ill wait. also situational if you dont draw both you lose if your deck is SOMEWHAT NEAR CENTERED ON THAT AS A WINCONDITION. this can be abusable in burn use be to run over your opp monster halving it and then dealing residual damage as well.
