Evaluation

Rating8.0/10

Pros

  • Prevents your opponent from attacking you for a turn.
  • Great for stalling, even if it means for a turn.

Cons

  • Effect only works if it is tribute summoned and only works for next turn.
  • Low stats for a 1-tribute monster.

Tips

Use Soul Exchange to get this monster out easily, this prevents your opponent from being able to attack the next turn and ensures that your monsters will not die the next turn. Pair this card with Pumprincess the Princess of Ghosts to lower their stats further.

This card is fantastic, especially when used in conjunction with Limit Impulse. I have stalled an opponent for two turns by using Limit Impulse, summoning Teva and then next turn summoning another.

Swords of Revealing light is not in Duel Links, but this combo is extremely close to the same level of BS that is using Swords of Revealing light. Getting two free turns of damage in while my opponent is shackled, letting me grab more cards with the possibility of using those two Teva's for a bigger monster is what makes this card so good... the flexibility it offers.

Interesting idea, although, you'll want to have Luminous Spark up at least, after those two turns, mere 2000 ATK might be easily countered by your opponent.
