I'm not convinced Aromages would run 3 Rose Lover anyway. It killed the plant princess decks, but they were only briefly relevant anyway.

Aromages only need to run 2, but semi limiting this along with Econ means now Aromages can only run 1 if you still want to run 1 copy of Econ.

Sylvans definitely needed to be nerfed, but nerfing this card definitely hurt other plant decks like Aromages.

Agreed, the sylvan nerfs were needed but it was an overkill. I'm glad that they're gone but I think konami did a bit too much

This piece of 🔥 is finally dead. Sylvan players can't use this if they have 2 Marshalleafs. Then again, I don't think there will be any sylvans in the Meta any more. Won't miss it.

I know sylvan is an archetype and konamy never nerfs an archetype (specially when there are from boxes)
But can nerf this 🔥: you don't spend gems or money to get it and makes sylvans op. Enemy always summon very powerful monsters like hermitree and guardyoak and continues to destroy your monsters and backrow by excavating his deck, and even you have still some backrow on the field, usually it will be useless to protect youself by opponent's monsters. So i think this is a true 🔥 card that needs nerfs by konami

No they don't. I use geargias and even with all sylvan counter cards it wins 75% of the time. Geargias are not a good counter unfortunately.

Is this card glitched!!?? I put it face down on my turn, the opponent plays 2 monsters, destroy's Rose Lover and i take a hit. The next turn, I CAN'T ACTIVATE THE SPECIAL ABILITY FROM THE GRAVE! WTF!

If your opponent is Vagabond you most likely duel him under "no special summon" or "no effect activation" challenge -_-

Ancient Gear Beast for example can negate effect of destroyed monsters even in graveyard

- Vagabond "no special summon" restriction
- Your opponent has chaos hunter which won't allow you to banish any card

That's why I said it's a scapegoat hit.

Sylvan deck's main combo would still work anyway without Rose Lover, but other Plant decks would have issues.

You want to destroy Sylvan, but you're hitting the wrong card. And then you'll complain asking why Sylvan is still OP even after Rose Lover is banned. That's because Rose Lover was never the issue in the first place.....

Just like a true player of yugioh, When a good deck comes around you want it banned. Come on now... you can do better. Find out ways around it. There are thousands of cards, you can find some new combos that will 🔥 Sylvans, don't cry to mama just because your decks are no good.
