If exactly 1 other Plant-Type monster you control (and no other cards) is destroyed by battle or by card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target. This card must be face-up on the field to activate and to resolve this effect.
Remove from play a Rose Lover in your graveyard to special summon this monster from your hand and make her immune to traps for this turn. Dust Knight makes this easier by sending Rose Lover from your deck to the graveyard.
Since many Naturia monsters are Plant-type, Mariña, Princess of Sunflowers could be a useful addition. Especially since Naturias have low stats meaning they are easily destroyed allowing you to use the effect of Mariña, Princess of Sunflowers multiple times.
Weirdest thing happened to me, I summoned Mariña with rose lover on a turn and i succesfully attacked cause i was immune to traps, but it only lasts 1 turn but then next turn i attacked directly and he massivemorphed me, mariñas damage got doubled but it still attacked, any explanation?
Your opponent probably thought that using massivemorph in the damage step was a good idea. However, massivemorph doesn't negate the attack when activated in the damage step.
So I was fighting on pvp with my Mariña deck and i was about to beat the other guys when he pulls out his Relinquished and takes over my Mariña, i still had my botanical girl face down, so he attacked her and i was expecting my Mariñas effect to activate so i could destroy Relinquished but it didnt activate, so i thought maybe Mariñas effect wouldnt work if it wasnt on my control, but it doesnt say that, it just says it needs to be face up on the field, which it was, so then i looked on Relinquished description and it doesnt say it takes off effects of monsters absorbed , so anything here im missing?
