Lord Poison

Botanical Girl can be used to search out Lord Poison. You can then summon Lord Poison and have him be destroyed by battle, to revive any Plant-type monster in your graveyard.

Lekunga

Search out Lekunga when Botanical Girl is destroyed by battle. When Lekunga is on your field, you can remove from play Botanical Girl and another WATER monster in your graveyard as cost to use his effect.

Raging Mad Plants

Raging Mad Plants can be used to boost the attack of Botanical Girl. Then you can search out a monster when she is destroyed during the End Phase.

Destruct Potion

Use Fragrance Storm to destroy Botanical Girl and draw a card.
Use Generation Shift to Destroy Botanical Girl and add another Botanical Girl From your deck to hand.

don't talk about the card if you've never used it 🔥head. if botanical girl leaving field isn't the last part of the chain it will 🔥ing miss activation. tribute to the doomed = miss timing. fragrance storm second effect = miss timing.

Whenever you see text "when this xxx", it must be the first thing to happen in a chain (if any). Same goes to pinch hopper and several other cards.

Keep in mind this only applies to optional effects, not mandatory ones. (Newer mandatory effects always use "if", but older ones used "when" for this.)

Botanical Girl's effect cannot be used if you use Fragrance Storm, Destruct Potion and Generation Shift to trigger its effect since it will miss the timing. "When ... you can ..." phrase require Botanical Girl destroyed and sent to the Graveyard is the last thing happen.

Is it just me, or is it really weird that this cards effect always miss the timing, despite "Blue Dragon Summoner" always apply its effect, just because it's "if" instead of "when"

I hate this. Dont know why it is this way. In German and other languages they use the same term but ist only with this Card that it doesnt get triggered.

Plus the effect only activates during damage step so if you tribute or destroy this card on your own the effect will not be activated. Truly R material
