The writter of this article here is a total noobs who doesn't know rulings. Most of the things posted here can't even trigger Botanical Girl's effect at all
It can be activated during any phase, not just damage step. But it can only activates when the card being sent to graveyard is the last thing to happen.
The cards listed here mostly have other effects that trigger after sending the monster to graveyard which means Botanical Girl would miss the timing
no you dumbass. it said from field to graveyard. there's no by battle, spell only, nor card effect only
as long as this card is sent to graveyard from the field, no matter how it is, the effect still applies
hell you can even normal summon botanical girl use tribute to the doom discard one card from your hand and target botanical girl in the field, the effect will still be applied
don't talk about the card if you've never used it 🔥head. if botanical girl leaving field isn't the last part of the chain it will 🔥ing miss activation. tribute to the doomed = miss timing. fragrance storm second effect = miss timing.
