For this time, Syrus Truesdale will unlocked in Duel World! Duel him to obtain exclusive Reward cards.
Syrus Truesdale drops rarer cards at higher levels! Raise your Duel World Stage to Duel Syrus Truesdale at a high level!

How to Play

  • Duel to fill up your Duel Meter and obtain daily and cumulative Rewards.
  • Duel Against Tardy Syrus who appears in Duel World (GX) to fill up your Duel Meter significantly! Challenge him to a duel if you find him!

  • Dueling in any Duel World, GX or DM, will increase the chance of Tardy Syrus appearing! The chance of him appearing will increase every time you Duel until he disappears.
  • If you run out of Standard Duelists, Use Duel Orbs to respawn the maximum number of Duelists!
  • Check to see the likelihood of Tardy Syrus appearing by looking at the upper-right hand corner of your Duel World screen!
  • Everytime you fill your Duel Meter, your next Duel will recieve bonus points! The multiplier of the bonus increases everytime you fill up a Duel Meter.
  • You earn additional points per duel if you have "friends running alongside you" meaning friends actively participating in the event.

  • The Duel Meter resets every day at 02:00.

(Written from a semi-FTP player standpoint) I’m probably gonna get blasted for being FTP and writing this but I feel like this game has gotten really boring. The meta changes almost every month so when I build I deck I grind out gems for they become obsolete quickly. I would love to get back into this game but it’s really hard because I’d have to grind out gems. I have spent money on the game but I just feel like spending money on a mobile game almost monthly isn’t the best idea. There’s almost no motivation to keep playing other than logging in over a couple of weeks just to keep Konami from deleting my account that I built up. Events get recycled a lot and if I have the cards from playing previously then there is now point to participate. Ranked duels can get tiring and frustrating when you’re doing really well and then you start going a losing streak. You could just say “get good” but the power creeped decks that could appear while one is climbing that can OTK you is actually crazy. This game sparked back Yu-GI-OH back into life with a group of my friends and we all feel the same that the game is getting kinda bland. If anyone could try and help me get back into the game and help other people that’d be great fully appreciated. Thank you for reading and have a nice day :))

I think i can feel you. Maybe. As the time goes on, it feels kinda bland. Maybe it's because of expanding the range of the archetypes, making them meta, without keeping the balance for the p2p cards. It feels like, "get meta in p2p or gtfo". Then we use meta, then this game become bland....

I just like to play with decks you can makeup yourself and combine with the best character style and skill. and then see how far u can go with that Deck/ char. Im not really into the PVP aspect of the game because randomness seems to always screw me over, also in PVP it just feels like a slot machine nowadays...People summon a monster and from there on start a chain of 10 minutes.. I dont like GX

Honestly I would like to be excited about getting a new character, but we cant forget what Syrus did to Jaden. Syrus was crying because Jaden got an offer to go to ra yellow, but Jaden stayed with Syrus because hes a true friend. What does Syrus do the first chance he gets to leave slifer red? He takes it. This shows that Syrus is fake af, and has been using Jaden. #BoycottSyrus

I know this is not the TCG, but shouldn't any card be okay as long as it is not on the ban list and limited properly? It sounds more interesting if a lot more things become overpowered or powerful and more deck types get finished instead of just a few decks at different times being too good.

Konami thinks a 2100 that can be special summoned from hand it's too strong for a meta that is full of swarm and destroy effects with beaters of 2500-3000

I wouldn't complain, but the problem is that her signature Vampire cards are already in boxes. Same for things like Adrian's Cloudians and Axel's Volcanics. Makes it really awkward to release them as playable characters in the future.
