For this time, Syrus Truesdale will unlocked in Duel World! Duel him to obtain exclusive Reward cards.
Syrus Truesdale drops rarer cards at higher levels! Raise your Duel World Stage to Duel Syrus Truesdale at a high level!

How to Play

Duel to fill up your Duel Meter and obtain daily and cumulative Rewards.
Duel Against Tardy Syrus who appears in Duel World (GX) to fill up your Duel Meter significantly! Challenge him to a duel if you find him!

Dueling in any Duel World, GX or DM, will increase the chance of Tardy Syrus appearing! The chance of him appearing will increase every time you Duel until he disappears.
If you run out of Standard Duelists, Use Duel Orbs to respawn the maximum number of Duelists!
Check to see the likelihood of Tardy Syrus appearing by looking at the upper-right hand corner of your Duel World screen!
Everytime you fill your Duel Meter, your next Duel will recieve bonus points! The multiplier of the bonus increases everytime you fill up a Duel Meter.
You earn additional points per duel if you have "friends running alongside you" meaning friends actively participating in the event.

The Duel Meter resets every day at 02:00.

Is it just me, or did they cut down the daily gems(20/50 before) and the gems for the overall points??? He brings two new cards, but what else is 'new' with this 'all new Duel-A-Thon'???

I wouldn't say that Jaden defeated Aster easily. Aster beat him once and put up a good fight in the rematch. Also, in the manga, Aster defeats Jaden and Jaden does not get a rematch. Poor Zaney never got his rematch against Aster. However, in the manga, they do have an amusing conversation that makes it sound as if Zane had defeated him before. Maybe that is why there is no Hell Kaiser Zane there.

There are a few episodes in which he shows stupid/childish behavior.
Like as he dueled one, that made the whole game a shadow game(like Marik). 'Oh nice Special Effects man!'. He don't take things seriously and jokes around. Don't know the Manga, just saw the Anime(4kids). Not the entire thing(as I didn't know anyting about Aster or Dark Zane).

I don't think that was necessarily idiocy. I think he genuinely believed Titan to be a con-man (which he WAS). He hadn't yet known about Shadow Games being real, so it escalating towards the end COULD have been theatrics for all he knew.

He's only really childish for the first half of Season 1 or so. Still has a couple of goofy moments into Season 2, but not many.

I am guessing this time we are getting jetroid which lets you activate traps from the hand and perhaps about it since 1 new card is a thing with the rest of the events this month.

I still don't get the story with the bear, every time he tell the stroy to the others the game skip it. and now the event is over and still no clue. have I missed something?

the bear story was a pun from after the glady event, syrus came to duel links was talking to tourguide about his cardcrush dark magician girl and made tourguide angry. then she send him a new duel monster as a crush(the bear wanted to literally crush him). i dont remember the complete story, but that should be the most of it.

"Duel Island - Gladiator Beasts" ran between February 27 and March 7. It's just like akubane said, Syrus first came during that event, so they made a joke with it and had Tour Guide sic Gladiator Beast Andal on Syrus. It was kind of funny. But the joke was so many months ago it just feels stale and overblown at this point, not to mention many new players haven't seen it.

It not just Dark Magician Girl, he also mentions Thunder nyan nyan. Although, TNN is flat in cencer version, she and DMG actually has big boobs. And Tourguide is just plat like an anvil. That make TG angry.

Farming him is pretty easy he doesn’t have many strong cards except drill roof and shield smash but I got 3 copies of each card he drops. I just want 3 copies of truckroid it’s the best card from him and you can get one from unlocking him and one from the lvl45 reward
