You must control either of Beast-type, Beast-Warrior type, or Winged-Beast type monster to use this card.

Tips

This card is a good card to increase draw power, if your deck has variations of the mentioned 3 monster types.
Keep in mind that the number of cards you can draw depends on the number of monster-types on your field, not the number of monsters. So if you have 3 monsters of the same monster-type, you can only draw 1 card.

Note

This card can only be useful in certain decks. The above mentioned are decks that consists of mostly Beast-type, Beast-Warrior type or Winged-Beast type monsters. Keep in mind that if you activated The Big Cattle Drive, you cannot activate other Spell/Trap cards for the rest of that turn.

I tested it out in my new deck, using Fur Hire / Knightmare links.
Apparently, there's a misunderstanding. The part that says...You cannot activate other Spell/Trap Cards or effects during the turn you activate this card.

Only refers to spell/trap cards. It means that continous face up spell/trap cards can't use their effects.

Monster effects can still be activated. In a fur Hire deck, you can use it to draw 3 cards.

I don't think that "effect" include monster effect too since wiz, sage of fur hire also has that line but it can't negate monster effect

That wording means "Spell/Trap Cards or Spell/Trap effects". It would further specify Monster effects or card effects if it blocked monster effects.

I played this after using recon to play dyna, and I still got my +1. Still messing with this card, but I made a new account, and made fur hire with 3 beat and staples in under a week, no $ spent but free gems.

Hey dummy I’m prob super late here but the wording doesn’t mean monster effects or it would specify such… it words it that way to say you can’t activate spell or traps or use their effects using an effect and activating are two different things so that applies to continuous spell and traps or field spells that are already active but means you can’t use their effect

Yosenjus are using this to draw 2 having 1 Magat and any other Yosenju Beast-warrior on the field.

There's a secret crazy powerful deck you can make with this no one is playing for some reason.... lol That will be MUCH better once XYZ become a thing.

But the only XYZ talked about here are the LIGHT Machine ones? So no one mixed up anything, as they're the only XYZ in Yugioh.

You still seem deeply confused and mistaken. XYZ Dragon Cannon is a crappy old, highly specific monster from a defunct archetype no one was talking about or referencing in any way.

In real Yu-Gi-Oh!, XYZ (Or Exceed) Monsters are an entire extra new deck classification like Synchro Monsters, but with a rank instead of a level. Summoned by overlaying two monsters of the same level.

Gladiatorbeasts work quite well with this actually, win rate of about 70%, however on KOG, not all people were playing too serious...

Cattle Drive only prevents you using Spell/Trap effects. It'd have been worded differently if it included monster effects. (Probably saying card effects in this case.) The way it's worded pretty clearly means "Spell/Trap cards or Spell/Trap effects".
