How to Play

  1. Collect Castle Keys
  2. Challenge Castle Monsters
  3. Defeat all the monsters on each floor
  4. Save Up the Lottery Coins to use in the lottery

Wave Duels

  • In Wave Duels, you will duel 3 monsters in a row.
  • The appearance of a monster is called a wave.
  • Each new wave will begin with the same situation on the field as the end of the previous wave.
  • Your Opponent will go first and they will begin each wave by playing a certain card.

Damage Bonus

You can attack your opponent's weak Attribute will let you inflict three times as much battle damage.

  • Light > Dark > Light
  • Fire > Wind > Earth > Water > Fire

......this is actually a GX event referencing Supreme King's castle and his Dark World underlings, why would she be unlockable in this event?

If anything, Supreme King is a far more likely unlockable character.

This event is a joke. Have to wait for 5 days just to unlock 30 floors? Even kids with decent auto duel deck can finish this in 30 minutes. generic rewards, no smart quizzes. This aint DD tower mission we knew. C'mon Konami, bring back the real DD Castle quest!

To be fair the reason why they got rid of the previous style of DD castle was because its getting increasingly harder for newer players to build a proper attribute theme deck to complete the challenge and actually win the duel. On top of that the reward system was crap IMO.

Now that was for newbie perspective, so lets consider yugioh veterans. Now these players could rummage some strategy from the simple decks of early duel links to complete the puzzles. However there were other problems, personally back when i first played the dd tower event, the rules were not properly written and I thought if you lost you would have to start from floor 1 again,which was not true

In the end it didnt provide enough challenge to veterans, too convoluted for newbies, and just a painful grind to get rewards that many casuals just skipped it over time

Six Samurai deck is really good in auto duel. Negate 1 spell/trap per turn will give me less problem.

agree, make sure your extra deck will ONLY have 3 Shi En and nothing else, to prevent the stupid AI from summoning rubbish

From my experience, the challenge room only appears when you used super effective match up at every 10;20;... floor.

My deck for challenge wave
Don't need to destroy opponent monster
Just deff till draw immortal card + field spell

The important card was
Field spell, striges, houndhorde

For the other just to make up the number

Vendread monster can easily summon from the Grave yard anyway

I got Archlord Kristya Challenge in stage 20, I guess it is randomly encountered every 10 stage? The Challenge Room will stay on d menu afterwards

DD tower dark was the best. No long floor restriction (like why th 2 days?), plenty of quizzes/quests and you even get special icon for 100% mission completion.

i feel Castlevania vibe just by seeing the title font alone. Please give us some 16bit icon reward!

p.s.: agreed, DD dark tower was better than this ridiculously restricted tower. I missed those 100-ish satisfying quests.

Konami making the most out of also being the owner of the Castlevania franchise. The castle depicted in the banner event looks like almost identical to Dracula´s.
