Banishes an opponent’s monster.
Banishes from your opponent’s graveyard.

Cons

Requires a discard cost.

Tips

Very useful against archetypes with monsters that change their name in the graveyard. For example Skull Servant, Cyber Dragon, and Dark Magician.

Raigeki Break

Karma Cut is generally a superior version of Raigeki Break because banishing is more powerful than simple destruction and because Karma Cut can disrupt your opponent’s graveyard.

Fabled

The discarding a Fabled monster as the cost of Karma Cut can trigger their effects.

Your deck is just s@ck if it can't get through a single disruption.
Try to include this card in your deck and you will be surprised, one single card is not enough for most meta decks.

If I negate a monster's effect with XYZ Block and send an XYZ Material to the GY and the opponent activates Karma Cut after and targets and banishes the XYZ monster, does XYZ Block still activate?

Speed 4 is not an official term though. You can't chain a speed 4 card to every other card. So be careful with the spell speed 4 term.

how do you guys deal with karma cut?

i play 3 forbidden lance but almost never open up with it so if i go second there is nothing i can do, any monster i put gets banished

and just to get the salt out of me... blue eyes player always open open with 1 or 2 pot of greed and then draw karma cut first turn

what am i supposed to do against that

3 Lances but never open with them? Yea, that must be a 30 cards deck with tampered ratio, like 'balance' Noble Knight.

I play rogue deck with 22 cards, and most of the time I see one of my 2 Lances in the opening hand.

How do deal with karma cut: use karma cut. Dont waste you time finding a counter to a card. Just accept it. The yugioh philosophy in general: just play your deck.

Assuming that karma cut was used in 2nd round by your opponent, it means he played first and set it in his first round. So you set your wire trap in your round, second round. Traps CAN'T be used in the turn they were set. Basic Yugioh rulles.

Karma Cut has been in the playroom for 2 years. It needs to be semi-limited.

Yes it does. The problem is is that it’s been forced on us loads over the last few months so right now it’s everywhere.

That wouldn’t be such a problem if this card wasn’t almost singlehandedly winning duels. In this trap meta going second is pretty much an auto-lose, not healthy at all.

LOL. Karma Cut can banish Thunder Dragons as many times only to see them return the next turn

We need more monster that has forbidden lance effects or at least untargetable or Konami hit this card. It's not about f2p or p2w, it's way too strong because banish is currently the strongest way removal. Also discard can be handy if that monster has GY effect.

Konami has never been able to do a proper banlist, it has always been the same s*it in tcg: tons of innocent cards ki*led just to save the a*s of the expensive and unfair rare card. (Don't write the reason, I know exactly why they do this)

When I saw the limit 3 in duel links I thought konami would finally have the balls to hit expensive cards for the sake of balance, well they didn't.

This is a digital game so there is no excuse for the lack of refund

There are a few good cards that can't be targeted by traps. Unfortunately, most of them have no real archetype.

Most of the tiered deck are all vulnerable to banishment, 🔥 Desperado, Noble Knight, ecc. Currently among the top anti-meta cards, it would be a mistake to semi-limit it.

This card imo will never ever get banned. or limited. Yes it is powerful in current meta but faaaaar from broken. Its a 2for1 card. Sooner or later a newer, better, more broken card will get released and karna cut will just fade like tons of other generic trap cards that were staple in past (see canadia, sakuretsu, widespread ruin, dimension prison, raigeki break, floodgate etc etc etc).

What the 🔥 is this cope. RBreak and Floodgate are currently the 2nd and 3rd most popular trap cards in the official ranking for platinum and above /today/. Htf can you say they "faded" jesus christ the comments I read here

At early game, this card stop your opponent combo by banishing one of their face up monster. In the late game this card banish any monster with the same name in the graveyard, completely shut down opponent plays.

Except they got another monster to rely on.

Persomally, in KOG level, I rarely see canadias. The reason why canadia is still popular is because most people dont have book of moon yet. Digging selection boxes cost too much even for whales. See karma cut. When it was released before 7 months in selection boxes was quite rare to see. Once it came in a mini box, everyone got a playset making it the most popular card.
