Never, ever a card that is actually a straight 2 for 1 will get a ban. Not to even mention trap cards are among the cards that hardly ever hit the limit list due to the fact are slow and can be countered easily. Karma Cut sooner or later will just fade from decks just like tons of other "broken" trap cards of the past. I still remember people crying for Wall of Disruption. Where it is now?
Same, canadia and floodgate are now being used in almost dead decks like invoked neos and in trap abomination decks like shiranui, amazoness, etc that run 50-60% traps. Book of moon has already replaced canadia in all top tier decks.

Persomally, in KOG level, I rarely see canadias. The reason why canadia is still popular is because most people dont have book of moon yet. Digging selection boxes cost too much even for whales. See karma cut. When it was released before 7 months in selection boxes was quite rare to see. Once it came in a mini box, everyone got a playset making it the most popular card.
