I'm pretty sure the "Take 1000 pts per turn" is meant for whoever controls the card.

You have a weak monster and enemy have 2 strong monsters. Tribute these 2 monster and take control of lava golem with econ. Deal 2800 dmg directly. Lava Golem goes back to enemy. Enemy takes 1000 dmg.

If you have kaiba's enemy controller and your enemy has 2 monsters you can summon your monster, special summon this monster to your enemy side, then sacrifice your monster to take control of lava golem and get a direct attack.

That's exactly why they said mask + blast so that they can't tribute the golem without losing the monster ya dummy :P

This card might work well with nimble musasabi or weevil deck for that matter. Send 2 monster to you opponent field, tribute those 2 special summon this to their field and they takes 2500 damage right off the bat. The downside is your giving high level to your opponent side.
