• You must control no monsters on the field in order to Special summon Zombie-type monsters from your hand.

These are the notable higher level Zombie-types that can be Special summoned Instantly using this card’s effect provided you do not control any monster on the field.

• This card can also Special summon level 4 or below Zombie-type monster from your hand, therefore remember to Special Summon using this card first, then Normal summon another Zombie-type monster if you have multiple monsters in your hand.
• This card is an excellent synergy and support for Il Blud, reason being you can directly Special summon it and followed by another Normal summon to activate its effect, Il Blud will then be able to bring out other Zombie-type monsters from either players’ graveyard, or your hand. If Il Blud gets destroyed, all your zombie-type monsters special summoned by him is also destroyed, which enables you to trigger Call of the Mummy again upon your next turn.
• This card also supports Red Eyes Zombie Dragon by Special summoning it directly to the field, not only giving you an instant high-attack beater, and also synergizes with your existing Red Eyes Zombie Dragon supports.
• Although this card is powerful, it can be a dead card if you are unable to draw it within the first few turns, reason being you might already have multiple monsters on the field, and you have limited spaces on your backrow to use this card.
• Cards like Storm or Emergency Provisions are able to help you clear out this card from your backrow should the situation requires you to do so, at the same time provide additional effects to either destroy enemy backrow or gain LP to yourself.

Although this monster is a higher level Zombie-type, it has specific summoning conditions through Great Dezard, therefore Call of the Mummy cannot be used to special summon it.
