Already high attack can be increased further.
High defense means it isn't vulnerable when changed to defense position.

Cons

Difficult special summoning condition.
Requires 2 tributes and no way to special summon from hand or deck.
Attack gain depends on other monsters in the grave.

Tips

One monster tribute

Use Totem Dragon or Kaiser Sea Horse to tribute summon with only one tribute. Advance Force can also help summon this monster with one tribute, but only if you tribute a level 5 or higher monster.

Revive from grave

Time Machine can revive this monster as soon as it is destroyed. This would allow him to return to the field with greater attack points using his effect.

Cyberdark Claw + Five-Headed Dragon is the easiest method to get a lvl 12 target

I thought about cyberdark claw before, but didn't see how I could build a Felgran+Cyberdark deck.

There is not a lot of synergy between the two. Felgran is about lvl 8 dragons and Cyberdarks about <lvl 5.

How do you combine both in 1 deck?

yubel + fiend farewell skill, or maybe with nekroz deck

I don't exactly see what Yubel + Farewell skill does. But it doesn't look like it synergies well with Felgran archetype. And Yubel cards are usually sent to the gy thanks to fire king avatar archetypes right?

Doesn't look like it will work. With Nekroz there is a similar issue.

But thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Anyone knows if there are dragon protection cards (from mass effect destruction) out there ?

The felgran-Arkbrave combo has a very good recovery but very bad protection.

How do you protect these dragons from OTKs that wipes the field and kills you before you can recover ?

Starlight Road. But note that Stardust Dragon won't be properly summoned so you cannot revive it from the GY once it got destroyed.

This looks good but I wonder if you get to use it often.

If I'm not wrong, this card will be usable against Cyber dragons, yubel and Quintet decks only ?

I don't even know if "Starlight Road" will destroy the Quintet Magician.

Yes. But take note it must be sent from field to grave.

With the new chazz structure deck that's been added, I made a felgrand deck... You can literally summon this in one turn

paladin of felgrand + ruins of the divine dragon lord continuous spell card.

summon paladin of felgrand, use paladin's effect to search for and equip felgrand dragon to paladin.
use ruins of dragon lord's effect to send felgrand dragon to the graveyard and bring out a token.
use paladin's effect to send itself and token to the graveyard and to bring back felgrand dragon back on the field.
Done.

Konami, please fix this card, can't special summon from the graveyard, even when sent from the field first (tryed using guardian of felgrand, dragon ruins, dragon reborn).

Try Arkbrave Dragon's effect or Dragon's Rebirth.

Can Felgrand be special summoned from the graveyard with Dragon rebirth after being destroyed from the field by a trap card such as Michizure. Cause i used dragon totem to normal summon it to the field and it was destroyed by Michizure by my opponent and i tried to special summon it from the graveyard with Dragon Rebirth and it wouldn't let me, and the card says it can be special summon from the grave if sent to the graveyard from the field.

Its a bug. I have had the same problem. It should be able to as long as it was sent to the Graveyard from the field, but apparently you cant special summon it unless it is sent there by battle...

Read the card, it can't be special summoned from hand, only from graveyard after tribute summoned. So kidmodo doesn't work

If by saying "only need a vanguard" means you thought throwing this card into the graveyard then special summon it somehow, then it also wouldn't work as it cannot be special summoned except when it entered the graveyard while it was on the field.

Tribute first then enemy mirror walled and use rope of life to ressurect it, and boom increase atk by 800 and it effect
