The Tripper Mercury | Decks and Tips

When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can change all monsters on the field to face-up Attack Position. You can Tribute 3 monsters to Tribute Summon (but not Set) this card. If Summoned this way, while this card is on the field all monsters your opponent controls lose ATK equal to their original ATK. This card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase.

• Forces all monsters on the Field to face-up ATK position.
• Decent ATK and DEF stats.
• Can attack twice during the same battle phase.
• If summoned by Tributing 3 monsters, it can lower all your opponent’s monsters’ ATK equal to their original ATK value.

• Requires 2 Tribute to Tribute Summon. Optionally you can use 3 Tributes to Tribute Summon in order to activate its addtional effect.

• This monster mostly plays the role of finisher as it is quite tedious to Tribute Summon it. Considerably slow if you plan to Tribute 3 monsters to Summon it.
• A typical Sea Stealth Attack will overshadow the need to use this monsters’ effect because they can just eliminate opponent’s monsters easily with Sea Stealth Attack’s effect.

Skreech can send up to 2 Treeborn Frog or Fishborg Planter, or 1 of each, to your Graveyard when it was destroyed by battle. Treeborn Frogs is a free tribute resource as long as you do not have any Spell/Trap cards (including Field Spell). Fishborg Planter can Special Summon itself by discarding 1 card from your Top Deck, and if that discarded card is a monster. This are the viable WATER monsters to set up for your Tribute Summon. Enemy Controller and Double Magical Arm Bind can be used to take control of your opponent’s monster(s) to be used as Tribute, thus eliminating their monsters on the Field at the same time.

This monster gains stat buffs from A Legendary Ocean, and can utilize Sea Stealth Attack’s effect to destroy your opponent’s monsters at the start of Damage Step.
