Set Skill

[Skill] descriptionUser
ZEXAL – Ultimate Unite
Add 1 "Number C39: Utopia Ray" and 1 "ZW - Leo Arms" to your Extra Deck at the beginning of the Duel. The only monsters you can Special Summon from your Extra Deck during this Duel will be "Number" or "ZW" monsters.

Once per turn and twice per Duel, this Skill can be used by paying half your Life Points. Send 1 "Gagaga" monster from your field to your Graveyard, then play 1 "Gagaga" monster from among three possibilities from outside of your Deck to your field, and change its Level to 4.

In addition, if your Life Points are 2000 or below, the following effect will be applied at the beginning of your turn. Yuma and Astral build the Overlay Network! ZEXAL Morph!

Can be used once after transforming to ZEXAL. If you Xyz Summon "Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray" during this turn, you can also Xyz Summon it by using "Number C39: Utopia Ray" you control as the material.

How to Play

Utopic Onomatopeia

Utopic Onomatopeia
Utopic Onomatopeia
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1500 / DEF 1500
Shining Hope [UR]
(This card is always treated as a "Zubaba", "Gagaga", "Gogogo", and "Dododo" card.)
During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon up to 1 each "Zubaba", "Gagaga", "Gogogo", and/or "Dododo" monster(s) from your hand in Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters. You can only use this effect of "Utopic Onomatopoeia" once per turn.

Utopic Onomatopeia is a great Xyz enabler because its effect can allow you to Special Summon two more monsters to fill the board. This effect makes it fairly easy to make two Xyzs in the same turn.

Additionally, Utopic Onomatopeia counts as all Onomato sub-archetypes. With this you can activate any of your support Spells before making the Xyz monster.

Zubababancho Gagagacoat & Dododo Driver

Zubababancho Gagagacoat
Zubababancho Gagagacoat
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 100
Gagaga XYZ
If you control a "Zubaba" or "Gagaga" monster except "Zubababancho Gagagacoat", while this card is in your hand: You can Special Summon this card. You can target 1 "Gogogo" or "Dododo" monster in your GY; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Xyz Monsters. You can only use each effect of "Zubababancho Gagagacoat" once per turn.

This card is an amazing field extender. Besides that, the effect that revives a monster is separate from its Special Summoning. This makes it much more versatile because with a full field, you can first make an Xyz monster to open a Monster Zone before revive a monster with this card's effect.

Dododo Driver
Dododo Driver
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 200
Shark Fang [R]
Up to twice per turn, if this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a "Dododo" monster this turn: You can target 1 "Dododo" monster you control, then activate 1 of these effects:● Increase its Level by 1.● Reduce its Level by 1.

Special Summon Dododo Driver with Gagagacoat's effect. Use Driver's effect to manipulate both of their levels, giving you access to Rank 4 and 5 or even possible 8 Xyzs (with Gagaga Sister or Child effect).

ZS - Armed Sage

ZS - Armed Sage
ZS - Armed Sage
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 300 / DEF 900
Brave Hope [SR]
If the only monster you control is 1 Level 4 monster not named "ZS - Armed Sage", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). A "Utopia" Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card on the field as material gains this effect.
● If this card is Xyz Summoned: You can add 1 "ZW -" monster from your Deck to your hand.

You can only use this effect of "ZS - Armed Sage" once per turn.

Can be swarmed to the board while you only control 1 Level 4 monster except itself and search out 1 "ZW" monster from your Deck when it goes into Xyz Summon with other Level 4 monster.

Gagaga Monsters

Gagaga Child
Gagaga Child
DARK Spellcaster ★2
ATK 800 / DEF 1200
Yuma and Astral Lvl 7, 16, and 25 [SR]
If you control a "Gagaga" monster other than "Gagaga Child", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When you do: You can target 1 "Gagaga" monster you control with a different Level than this card; this card's Level becomes the Level of that monster. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect.

Special Summon Gagaga Child then have it copy the Level of a Level-4 Gagaga monster you control for an easy Rank-4. It's best to use Child during the first turn where its demerit won't really matter or you can sent this card with ZEXAL – Ultimate Unite skill to place 1 "Gagaga" monster outside from your Deck.

Gagaga Sister
Gagaga Sister
DARK Spellcaster ★2
ATK 200 / DEF 800
Shining Hope [SR]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Gagaga" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can target 1 other "Gagaga" monster you control; the Levels of that monster and this card become their combined current Levels, until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Gagaga Sister" once per turn.

Search upon Normal Summon is a simple yet useful effect. This gives you quick access to support such as Gagagarevenge.

The level modulation effect is actually the reason this deck gets access to Rank-4 Xyzs.

ZW Monsters

ZW monsters aren't very versatile, because without Utopia they're essentially bricks. To make up for this lack of versatility, they give extremely powerful buffs if you do control Utopia. With both monsters attached to Utopia, you'll be looking at a 5000 ATK monster so don't even worry about Utopia being destroyed by battle.

ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber
ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber
LIGHT Beast ★5
ATK 1000 / DEF 2100
Brave Hope [UR]
You can only control 1 "ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber". If your opponent's LP are at least 2000 higher than yours, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can target 1 "Utopia" monster you control; equip this card you control to it as an Equip Spell that gives it 1000 ATK. Once per turn, while this card is equipped to a monster, you can negate a monster effect activated on your opponent's field.

Like the other general ZW Monsters, Level 5 Twin Saber can be equip to a "Utopia" monster with 1000 ATK boost up, but it cannot be directly equip from your hand which cause quite dead hand even it can special summoned when you opponent's LP has more than at least 2000 than yours.

The only way to equip Twin Saber faster for now is using Leo Utopia Ray effect which can directly equip this card from your Deck. Twin Saber's equip effect will allows you to negate a monster effect of your opponent once which can disrupt your opponent's setup combo sometimes.

ZW - Tornado Bringer
ZW - Tornado Bringer
WIND Dragon ★5
ATK 1300 / DEF 1800
Eternal Stream [R]
You can target 1 "Utopia" monster you control; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. It gains 1300 ATK. While this card is equipped to a monster, your opponent cannot target that monster with card effects. If a monster equipped with this card would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead. You can only control 1 face-up "ZW - Tornado Bringer".

It has good value since it gives a good ATK boost, and also makes them untargetable, protecting them from common techs like Fiendish Chain, Karma Cut, and Treacherous Trap Hole. Battle protection is also a nice added bonus, essentially giving your Utopia a second life.

ZW - Lightning Blade
ZW - Lightning Blade
LIGHT Beast ★5
ATK 1200 / DEF 2000
Eternal Stream [R]
You can target 1 "Utopia" monster you control; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. It gains 1200 ATK. While this card is equipped to a monster, face-up "ZW -" cards you control cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. If a monster equipped with this card would be destroyed by a card effect, destroy this card instead. You can only control 1 face-up "ZW - Lightning Blade".

Lightning Blade is support for your support. It does give a huge ATK boost, but more importantly, it ensures that both it and Tornado Bringer stay attached to Utopia. However, backrow removal cards like Cosmic Cyclone will still be an issue.

ZW - Leo Arms
ZW - Leo Arms
LIGHT Beast ★5
ATK 3000 / DEF 1200
Duelist Road: ZEXAL - The Soul of Xyz Summoning [UR]
2 Level 5 monsters
This card cannot attack your opponent directly. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; add 1 "ZW -" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can target 1 "Utopia" monster you control; equip this monster on the field to that target. It gains 3000 ATK. During your Battle Phase, if a monster attacked this turn while equipped with this card: You can send this Equip Card to the Graveyard; the monster that was equipped with this card can make a second attack, on an opponent's monster, during this Battle Phase.

On its own, it's just a 3000 ATK monster with a search effect. Mainly to be used as an equip card for Utopia. You'll want to search for a ZW card that can protect your Utopia from battle or card effects to make sure It can survive. Oftentimes, Tornado Bringer is the best choice since it makes sure that your Utopia can't be Book of Moon'ed.

Keep in mind that Leo Arm's effect after you destroy a monster will only let you attack into another monster, not direct attack. You'll have to keep in mind how much attack your Utopia will have after Leo Arm is detached to see if your next attack over a monster will win the game or not.

Gagagarevenge

Gagagarevenge
Gagagarevenge
Equip Spell
Brave Hope [SR]
Target 1 "Gagaga" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it and equip it with this card. When this card leaves the field, destroy the equipped monster. When this card is sent to the Graveyard because the equipped monster was used as an Xyz Material: All Xyz Monsters you currently control gain 300 ATK.

Revive 1 "Gagaga" monster in your Graveyard and boost up All Xyz Monster you currently control while it is sent to the Graveyard when the equipped monster used as Xyz Material for Xyz Summon.

Extra Deck

Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray
Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray
LIGHT Warrior ★5
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
KCGT 2022 Celebration Campaign [UR]
3 Level 5 monsters
(This card is always treated as "Number C39: Utopia Ray".)
Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; equip 1 "ZW -" monster from your Deck or Extra Deck to this card as if it were equipped by that monster's effect. This effect's activation and effect cannot be negated. Once per turn, while this card is equipped with a "ZW -" Monster Card (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate its effects, and if you do, halve its ATK.
Number C39: Utopia Ray
Number C39: Utopia Ray
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Infinite Ray [UR]
3 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 39: Utopia" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; it gains 500 ATK and 1 monster your opponent controls loses 1000 ATK, until the End Phase. You must have 1000 Life Points or less to activate and to resolve this effect.

While other Decks prefer to only make Utopia Ray as a comeback option, this Deck wants to make Utopia Ray as a general purpose option. With the ZW monsters attached to Utopia Ray, it'll have great staying power; so you don't need to worry about Utopia Ray getting removed and wasting all your resources. And with Utopia Ray's debuff effect combined with the ATK boost from the ZW equips, you can easily hit through an enemy monster for an OTK.

Number 39: Utopia
Number 39: Utopia
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Brave Hope [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
When any player's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the attack. When this card is targeted for an attack, while it has no Xyz Materials: Destroy this card.

Utopia's effect helps it survive, while Utopia Ray is more for offensive play if your LP is low. Unless your LP is low, Utopia is most likely the one you want to stay with so you can negate dangerous attacks.

Number 61: Volcasaurus
Number 61: Volcasaurus
FIRE Dinosaur ★5
ATK 2500 / DEF 1000
Rage of Volcano [UR]
2 Level 5 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; destroy that opponent's monster, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal half to the destroyed monster's original ATK. This card cannot attack your opponent directly during the turn you activate this effect.

It's a decent monster removal with some additional effect damage.

Number 22: Zombiestein
Number 22: Zombiestein
DARK Zombie ★8
ATK 4500 / DEF 1000
Darkness Gimmick [SR]
2 Level 8 DARK monsters
Must be Xyz Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; change this card to Defense Position, and if you do, negate that face-up card's effect until the End Phase.

A pretty good optional card to use as a rank 8 XYZ. 4500 ATK is high enough to one shot your opponent, making it a great comeback card from your opponent controlling 2 monsters to a win for you in a turn.

The negate effect is pretty strong since it's a quick effect and can negate any face-up card, but switching it to DEF with only 1000 can make it difficult to survive.

Number 70: Malevolent Sin
Number 70: Malevolent Sin
DARK Insect ★4
ATK 2400 / DEF 1200
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.

Malevolent Sin is an anti-Xyz tech. Summon Malevolent Sin and use its effect to temporarily banish an enemy Xyz monster. The Xyz monster will return with no materials attached to it.

Other Cards Options

Dododo Buster

Dododo Buster
Dododo Buster
EARTH Warrior ★6
ATK 1900 / DEF 800
Shining Hope [R]
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If Summoned this way, its Level becomes 4. When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can target 1 "Dododo" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position.

Buster should be the first monster you play if you want to use it as Rank-4 material. The inherent Special Summoning effect is pretty good for putting a body on board, then you can just Normal Summon another Level-4 monster as its pair.

ZW - Asura Strike

ZW - Asura Strike
ZW - Asura Strike
FIRE Fairy ★4
ATK 1000 / DEF 1000
Arts of Atlantis [SR]
You can target 1 "Utopia" monster you control; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. It gains 1000 ATK. While this card is equipped to a monster, that monster can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. You can only control 1 "ZW - Asura Strike".

A 3500 attack monster is often enough to get over most monsters, so having this can be sufficient enough to get rid of all of your opponent's monsters. Together with another ZW equip for higher ATK increase can easily make it into a game winning turn.

Dodododwarf Gogogoglove

Dodododwarf Gogogoglove
Dodododwarf Gogogoglove
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 0 / DEF 1800
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 "Zubaba" or "Gagaga" monster from your hand. If you control a "Gogogo" or "Dododo" monster except "Dodododwarf Gogogoglove", while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of "Dodododwarf Gogogoglove" once per turn.

Like most of your other monsters, Gogogoglove is a good field extender helping you enable Xyz Summons. The first effect lets you put a monster on board which will be used as Xyz material alongside Gogogoglove. The second effect then allows you to reuse Gogogoglove in your graveyard for another Xyz Summoning.

Gagaga Head

Gagaga Head
Gagaga Head
DARK Spellcaster ★6
ATK 2100 / DEF 2000
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing as a Level 4 monster. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target up to 2 "Gagaga" monsters in your Graveyard, except "Gagaga Head"; Special Summon them, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except by an Xyz Summon that uses only "Gagaga" monsters as materials. An Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card on the field as Xyz Material gains this effect.
● If it is Xyz Summoned: Draw 1 card.

Normal Summon Head when you control no monsters then revive two Level-4 Gagaga monsters. With three Level-4 monsters on the field, you'll have a ton of Xyz options. Another option is to revive Gagaga Sister, use her effect and target Head, then use both monsters to make a Rank-6. Head is also a great Xyz material because it replenishes your resources by giving you a free draw.

Gagaga Support

Gagaga support is very simple; Gagagabolt is for on-demand targeting removal, Gagagawind is for getting Xyz materials on board.

Gagagabolt
Gagagabolt
Normal Spell
Shining Hope [SR]
If you control a "Gagaga" monster: Target 1 card on the field; destroy that target.
Gagagawind
Gagagawind
Normal Spell
Shining Hope [N]
Special Summon 1 "Gagaga" monster from your hand as a Level 4 monster.

Dodododraw

Dodododraw
Dodododraw
Normal Spell
Shark Fang [R]
Send 1 "Dododo" monster from your hand or face-up from your side of the field to the Graveyard; draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Dodododraw" per turn.

Dodododraw is the Deck's draw engine. The Deck doesn't run many Dododo monsters, but this doesn't hurt Dodododraw's consistency because you can just fetch these Dododo monsters any time with Onomatoplay.

Other Extra Decks

Heroic Champion - Excalibur
Heroic Champion - Excalibur
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 2000
Eternal Stream [UR]
2 Level 4 Warrior-Type monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; this card's ATK becomes double its original ATK until your opponent's next End Phase.

Excalibur is only available to Warrior Decks such as this. One way to make use of Excalibur's ability to double his ATK is by bringing him out to beatdown a powerful enemy monster. But, if possible try to direct attack for an OTK.

Constellar Ptolemy M7
Constellar Ptolemy M7
LIGHT Machine ★6
ATK 2700 / DEF 2000
Infinite Ray [UR]
2 Level 6 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Constellar" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material, other than "Constellar Ptolemy M7". (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If Summoned this way, the following effect cannot be activated this turn. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster on the field or in either player's Graveyard; return that target to the hand.

Yet another deck carried by a skill.
Anonymous
Instead of 2 Hope Ray, I think you only need 1.

Hope Ray is meant to be a way to come back from a losing situation and swing for OTK, since the effect makes it powerful but requires you to have 1000 LP or less to activate.

So you'll never need to summon more than 1, since you're supposed to win the duel with it.

Not anymore, now you use the skill to go from hope ray to leo, that's your wincon
<< Anonymous
WoodFrJared Reply
But I think you still need 1 (besides the Skill Copy) since this deck still focusing on Utopia Beater and OTK.
Anonymous
Aka, how to make a tier 1 deck worse.

I don’t think so really you only need one of each mostly adding gagagas so you can combo it with gagaga back you’ll be able to bring out utopia ray and activating the effect in one turn granted you have the life points for it. Still it’ll be easy enough to access with zw now in game

Onomats was actually t0 at one point

Literally you can't play those xyz you have, skill states that you can only play zw leo or numbers from the extra. So haraldry and the spider are fine. Others are literally useless af.
