No since it doesn't has "Red-Eyes" in its name, the same applied with B. Skull Dragon
I have Red eyes B. meteor dragon in my extra deck and Red eyes B. dragon on the field with Meteor Dragon in my hand, but when I play polymerisation it won't let me activate any effect to summon Red eyes B. meteor dragon. Am I doing something wrong ???
Not all fusion monsters are effect monsters. Effect monsters are monster cards that have the term "EFFECT" in it's description.
For example: Tyrant Dragon has [DRAGON/EFFECT] written in its description.
Non-effect monsters are cards that don't have "EFFECT" written in it like Meteor B. Dragon, Red Eyes B. Dragon or even Dark Magician.
Not when Lord of D. is on the field like he may be in the Meteor B. Dragon SD45 deck.
I "easilly" summon this card most of my duels. I've got a deck in construction yet but it is working nice at the moment.
I use 2 Red-Eyes and used to use 1 Meteor (I need those fusion material cards which can be used as any material to see if it will work nicely).
I "easily" summon it with my "Blue Dragon Summoner" and "Wonderful Wand", my oponents some times quit the duel. My deck is still missing some cards (hard to get from packs) to make it better.
