Pros

The ability to draw certain cards scales well with newer cards.
Useful to fetch other 4 star normal Dragon/Warrior/Spellcaster cards to fight or other high level normal Dragon/Warrior/Spellcaster cards monsters for tribute summon.

Cons

Average attack and very low defense.

It is able to fetch for Exodia pieces during the Exodia event.
In a Dark Magician's deck, it can search for a Dark Magician or Neo the Magic Swordsman for a 1900 beater with Yami present on the field.
Equip Blue Dragon Summoner with Wonder Wand and activate the wand's effect to draw 2 cards and a normal monster in your deck.

Read its description again :p It can summon only "normal" monsters, and Lord of Dragons is an effect monster.

The card effect don't seemed to work in various circumstances. E.g balloon discard, destoyed by monster effect... Any comments guys?

It only works if it is sent from the FIELD to the graveyard, not from the hand.

Cerberus is an effect monster. BDS only fetches normal monsters

its 4 SR jewels, not as the page says 3 SRs. I just unlocked Blue Dragon Summoner from the Card Trader and it says it needs 4 SR jewels.

This will happens when your remaining cards in the deck are not match its condition (races,normal monster)

It has to be a NORMAL Dragon, Warrior, or Spellcaster type. Effect Monsters aren't an option.

Due to it being good for searching for cards like BEWD REBD and other good cards, I'd recommend 3 but 2 seems fine if you don't want to clog your deck.
