Must first be Fusion Summoned. Monsters cannot be destroyed by battle with this card. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card battled a monster that has an original Level: That monster's ATK becomes 0, also, if that monster is still face-up on the field, Special Summon 1 "Dark Soul Token" (Zombie-Type/DARK/Level ?/ATK ?/DEF 0). (When Summoned, its Level and ATK become equal to the original Level and ATK of that monster.) You can only control 1 "Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon".

  • Monsters it battles will be debuffed to 0.
  • Special Summons Tokens to use as beaters.

Cons

  • It cannot destroy the opponent’s monsters by battle.
  • Restricted to only be Fusion Summoned.
  • Stats of Tokens depends on your opponent’s monsters.
  • He and his tokens have no defense stat.

Tips

Summoning

  • Zombie archetypes and decks are quite common and any of these decks can easily play Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon by just adding a fusion spell. Some examples are Vampires, Shiranui, Wight, Vendread, and other generic Zombie decks.
  • This card can’t do anything against defense position monsters.

Since Reptiliannes like to deal with 0 attack monsters, Dragonecro synergizes well with the archetype because of this. The biggest hindrance is that Reptilianne decks have no Zombie-type monsters.

That's not the only way to have a monster without a Level.

Link Monsters and cards Summoned by Magical Hats also lack Levels. (So incidentally, it's already possible for it to fail due to battling a monster lacking a Level.)

The rank monster will still got it's attack reduced to 0, but the Dragonecro won't be able to summon Token.

How good is this card? Does it improve vampires or vendreads?

whenever i use this monster i end up surrounded by its token versions and unable to synchro summon fusion summon or destroy them. are there any easily accesible cards to get rid of the copies

FYI, Rex Goodwin has a line with this card.

Which is fitting because Roman Goodwin, his brother that we most likely will not get in DL, is the user of this card in the manga.

I think Roman Goodwin and the other ds will be in dl because Rex Goodwin has a line for each earthbound immortal, and there can only be one of each in the game like the over earthbound immortal s, the box cards, and the sacred beastPhantasms card. My point is you can't have a earthbound immortal with out if dark siner.

Lovely new boss monster for Vendreads. Summon Battlelord, declare Trap or Monster Effect depending on the opponent's field then summon this and go for game uninterrupted
