A comment from Saturday:
This deck is absolutely nuts and destroys Koa'ki, Vampires and every other deck.
I was going back and forth between Legend 1 and 3 with U.A Amazoness, then the new structure deck came out and I immediately built it with Amazoness. I only lost twice from Legend 1, to a Drowning Mirror Force and a bad brick (before changing Heirloom to Swordsman LvL3 for more consistency).
Vampires can't deal with lvl8, Koa'ki can't deal with lvl4, Heroes can't deal with the Amazoness component, Karakuri can't Trunade OTK you through Onslaught. If you have them, add Floodgate Trapholes instead of the Network Traphole.
I played 3 Swordswoman and no Queen to have consistent Tribute fodder for Silent Swordsman, but you can play Queen over lvl3 or one Swordswoman if you like.

Felicia | Endless Trap Hell | Jan 15 |
A comment from Felicia:
This deck shuts down anything with spell cards. For some reason I barely use silent lv7. The whole point is to stall but the meta is all about otk. This is a major card advantage and had two strategies. Work around Amazoness or work around silent. Opponent can barely do both so he has to choose.
Reason why I don’t run the magic card for silent because I think this useless when your building a defense instead of rushing. Patience is the key. Why do I play endless trap hell. You never know you need your onslaught back. Sangan is there for bluff and a good throw away for princess to add another card to the hand. Many times I would be 2 plus cards up. Trust me. Just message me if you want to learn more.

A comment from Aurigio:
Pretty fun deck to use. Its best to protect your Silent Swordsman rather than having your SS lvl 7 asap. Make it a last resort. Jinzo was a pretty good tool to evade back row. Looks bricky but as long as you have your traps you’ll survive.
Shield warrior is great for protecting your monsters when its in the GY. I tried using Justice Bringer but playing defensively with Shield Warrior works better as there are a lot of OTK decks in the meta now. Only thing I can recommend really is to replace widespread with floodgate.

Humnoi100% | Reinforcement | Jan 17 |
A comment from Humnoi100%:
I call this deck Silent Sword Noble Knight.
With combine of Noble Knight and new Silent Swordman make Noble Knight don't worry about Paleozoic Canadia and Floodgate Trap hole if your Noble Knight was changed to facedown.
You just summon Silent Swordman instead if Silent Swordman will be destroyed you can summon Silent Sword LV 7 you can also set Silent Sword Slash give your Silent Sword better attack and defense but when you summon Silent Swordman LV 7
It also negate your spell too beware of this and also will get start bad hand too so I use skill Reinforcement help you to get random warrior you can also get silent swordman too this is bad thing but I often get Drystan.

How to reach KOG : with all these koaki meiru deck, spellbook does very well against it, especially when you manage to special summon silent magician and set fate and tth, negate diamond core if you can, and banish the urnight if enemy summon it. Dont worry about maximus, maximus will destroy silma and your silma lv 8 will take care of it next turn. The rest is just as usual.

Lots of Ko’akis on the ladder but I keep using Silent Spellbook, from plat 4 to KoG. I faced so many memes deck on plat, idk what the deck they used and i can't predict what their stategy, so I got many lose. And at win 59 I rank up to legend. The first look ko’aki deck, I didn’t know what the weakness on ko’aki deck, and in the day 2, I know to faced them.
I drop out 1 SB Fate to avoid brick on starting hand. GC to protect when you special summon BlueBoy/Silent Magician. Good Luck :)

A comment from Deep Beast:
You always will have Magician of Dark Ilusions in your first hand thanks to Arcana's ability. In the oponent's turn, when you actived Canadia or Spellbook of Fate, special summon this card from your hand. Use the Spellbook of fate against monsters and the Dark Magician spell to clean the oponent's backrow. In the case you lose the Magician of Dark Ilusions you case use the Spellbook of Live to revive him.

Beebster | Grit | Jan 14 |
A comment from Beebster:
Notes: Running plenty of stun with drowning and Canadia, while using Marrella to send penalty box to search the field spell. Paleozoics make excellent tribute fodder and I would replace the floodgate with another Canadia and sealed tombs would be a better skill given them. If Koa’ki get their combo in hope you have enough stun to stop them. Worst match up is Yubel using penalty box you be the only answer to that but it worked frequently. Try to bring out both Sluggers and beat until you win.

TrashPanda | The Tie that Binds | Jan 3 |
A comment from TrashPanda:
Notes: a very standard vampire deck, except I played 0 defensive cards and tie that binds. I played tie because it wins the mirror match and I don't have sealed tombs.
I highly recommend sealed tombs because it also helps against koaki which seems to be a new tier 1 deck, and definitely the most played deck on the ladder. the oddly low number of hero decks is what led me to decide to play a purely aggressive deck. for the most part this was the easiest kog climb I have ever done, and probably the only one with no rank downs.

TESLA | Sealed Tombs | Jan 3 |
A comment from TESLA:
So vamps as usual, this time the biggest problem is koaki, if you suspect them being one use sealed tombs to make sure they dont banish diamond from grave.
The spheres are here to prevent otk, good in mirror matches as well. Chose to put 2 trunades to deal with backrow as we dont use bandit or cyclone.

A comment from Kortezzy:
Easy Clap this season the only decks that I lost to was koa'ki and slow books.
Tips/Notes:
Kuribohs are for otk decks they protect you. Also they are good late game. For spellbooks I would summon dumpers (gozuki and skull) and pass. By doing this if they go in you can still back row. Also if they are not smart you can give them the good succ.

IIINC | Sealed Tombs | Jan 4 |
A comment from IIINC:
The current meta is unforgiving. Karakuri’s and Koa’ki’s -empowered by Box 17- have dictated the meta with cards like Karakuri Cash Cache, Karakui Anatomy, Ko’aki Diamond Core, and Ko’aki Maximus. Because of the speed and power of their meta-defining combos, Vampires needed to be faster. Given the backrow-heavy meta, Trunade and spell/trap removals became more favorable to have than ECon.
For other vampires, I’ve seen use of multiple Sphere Kuriboh’s as a counter. For those like me who don’t have another one or won’t invest one at the moment, one sphere and one galaxy is enough. Weirdly enough using the second semi-limited slot for ECon, Trunade, or Treacherous just proved too slow. Instead, replacing the second Trunade with the aforementioned Galaxy Cyclone was much better for a consistent backrow clear.

Pduque13 | The Tie that Binds | Jan 8 |
A comment from Pduque13:
I focus on OTK, so i play not only 2x Trunade but also 2x Desire and 2x Domain. I decided to put more Vampire tech cards because i found eight 3-card combo that can get you Grace + Castle + another monster on field:
and Domain or Desire or both are required in most of them. By using The Tie that Binds, not only you gain an advantage in mirror matches but also you become able to OTK attacking directly with Skull / Gozuki and Retainer while Castle is on the field, what is very useful when you can't summon Grace. Offerings to the Doomed is a very versatile card in this deck. It can help you to OTK or prevent you from OTK, and even send your Retainer / Familiar / Gozuki to the GY to activate their effects!
The hardest match is Silent Spellbook because this deck is centered on spell cards effects. You can add a Vampire Vamp to the deck, but it wouldn't be too useful in other matches and would mess the deck's balance. I suggest surrendering if your opponent plays Silent Magician, since there aren't lots of them nowadays (i only faced two during this season). Other hard matches are very agressive OTK decks, like Koa'Ki Meiru and Silent Swordman OTK. However, if you are going second, you will have a very high win probabilty!
Thanks a lot for your attention and all the help that you guys at GameA always give to us F2P duelists!

Ryuuuzaki | Cosmic Enlightenment | Jan 16 |
A comment from Ryuuuzaki:
With this build, you won't need hey trunade, which means you'll have 2 Enemy Controller. I chose to tech cosmic cyclone as it's very useful on your first turn OTK without needing to get jinzo, and helps get the skill faster. Standard great techs sphere ebola and canadia.
I tried all the other vampire deck variety but keeps losing. Then I climbed to KOG with straight 15 wins using this :) I'm excited about the new Cosmic Enlightenment skill next time. Will be fun!
