A comment from Hepo:
Note: Draw power is important, so summoning Vyon and dumping Celestial is the priority, and always use Destiny Draw when possible (unless you can end), if you don't draw into a monster your backrow is there to save you.

A comment from Mr. D:
The only thing that I made diferent from the rest, and it makes a great diference, is that I run 2 Forbidden Chalice. It has alot of sinergy with this deck and against top decks these days. Like getting Koa'ki Sandman get of the field to use traps, stop Vampires...

I used last gamble, kuriboh cards help you to survive the turns you need to be able to use Last Gamble. Thanks to yugi_duellinks for the idea.

A comment from Zuggernaut:
Hey, just it KoG with a Fusion masked change variant. Fun deck. Proper play allows you to play out of most scenarios. Switcheroo is a must for putting back Mali or Poly if you have Vyon.

Malleus | Beatdown | Jan 28 |
A comment from Malleus:
Notes:
The ideal board is black falcon, another of the monsters, and a token. You can set toggle button to on to activate aerial recharge right after you pay its cost for the turn. The hardest matchup is koaki meiru. Sonic boom can net you a bunch of cheesy wins, especially if you activate it during the damage step against something with low defense.

Kappalamda | LP Boost α | Jan 25 |
A comment from Kappalamda:
Pretty fun deck and easy to make synchro plays. Lp boost guarantees that wyvern starts with 3100 Atk although if summoned early it easily gets destroyed by card effects so Armades is safer early. Having 0 equips means they are not heavily countered by silent decks. Stardust shines on Koaki and Yubel matches

A comment from Lashie:
Notes: Proof that you don't need a "Tier 1 Championship Deck" to KOG.
No strategy here. Summon a monster. Set all your backrow, hope opponent doesn't have Hey Trunade Only 2 Ojama Blue because I don't have a 3rd one.

Anton | Reinforcements | Jan 23 |
A comment from Anton:
Surprisingly after getting beaten with several decks (Masked heroes, Vampires, BEWD and Spellbooks) and ranking up and down between legend 1 and 2, I hit kog this season with one of my favorite decks - Noble Knights.
Running Sphere Kuriboh is a must as it helped me to avoid otks or having more control about when and how using reinforcements skill, I only have 1 Kuriboh but I'd like to run 2 instead of the D.D. Assassin.
I have always thought that this deck is really good and hard to beat and it makes me very happy to have found a viable way to play it in the current meta.

Currahee | Last Gamble | Jan 5 |
A comment from Currahee:
This is an absolutly control deck against any top tier. (Koa'ki Meiru has to think very well when we use each card...)
I use two P. Canadia and TTH too, because an extra summon (for the Sacred Soldier or defense) and the second TTH for the skill cost or counter trap cost; and of course in addition to this, there is a higher chance in the starting hand.
Sea Horse make plus drawing and search for its or Radions, and in many cases I could use it several times for because M. Accelerator's effect. That extra card is good for counter against monster effects too. For this, the Ultimate Providence is a great valuable and useful card in this deck.
Backrow cleaner, tilter : Xing Zhen Hu and G. Cyclone.
Main card is Radion with really cool effect. Thunder Sea Horse, Radion and Morphtronic Accelerator (I have just 2) have a key chain connection. Sphere Kuriboh is an another defender against the backrow cleaner decks or Silent Magicians or Jinzo or any boss.
The last essential help and rescue is the relationship between Diana's and the Sacred Soldier's effects.

Gummy_Bears! | Chain Reaction | Jan 31 |
A comment from Gummy_Bears!:
There are many versions of Paleozoic out there, but win ratio with this version is incredible. Its competitive advantage lies in the flexibility. Each card usually can be useful in at least a couple of different ways depending on the situation. I'll address that for each card, very briefly.
The ability is Chain Reaction to chip away life! Puts under pressure and helps a lot
Paleos core
2x wall of D, pure gold, and can summon a paleo
dust tornado can pop annoying back row, set traps for the following turn, and summon a paleo
curse and windstorm can either stop an opponent from attacking, summon a paleo, and allow our paleo monsters to take advantage of low defenses during our damage step.
wetlands are mandatory. 2x is enough, as we draw and thin out our deck with paleo & weaken opponents monsters a lot
1x o'lantern, good beater and destroys one monster. Limit to 1 since it does not protect us during opponents turn
1x HERO as we need more back row removal, good to send traps to the GY and saves us from Jinzo and Lava Golem
2x amazoness, mandatory(!!!) major damage and can defend, good vs big blue eyes, anki, koa'ki etc...

Damwolf | Mythic Depths | Jan 21 |
A comment from Damwolf:
Long time reader, first time poster. Seems like alot of people have forgotten what SSA does, so had plenty of rage quit once they realised their anki can't kill the whale.
The deck revolves around the whale, he is your MVP and best chance at victory. Try to get fishborg planter into the graveyard as quickly as possible and keep bringing him back to the field as he can get the whale into the graveyard from which he can be summoned to the field.
Remember ice dragons effect can discard an atlantean to destroy whatever was special summoned. Once the whale is summoned be patient, don't attack without SSA being activated unless there are no face downs. Finally got a bit of abyssmegalo in there for the occasional otk. Good luck and happy dueling.

GARUNIX | Switcheroo | Jan 19 |
A comment from GARUNIX:
I started from gold and lost 3times until KOG (ezz). Most important things. Use Silent sword slash desensive or if you are sure that you'll win the game. Try to summun silent swordsman and negate every spell. Don't speculate on a bluff. Try to defend silent swordsman with everything you have.
It's important because if Lvl 7 comes to fast you'll lose. I use Silent swords man 2 times. It has two reasons. 1: Two are enough because you can get him with silent sword slash. 2: I don't have enough money to buy him a second time :( . I would be happy about a donation. :). I wish you all good luck. Don't fear other decks. Especially koaki because this deck is based on spells. With your ability you can shuffle lvl 7 or 5 in your deck back.
