Mysterious Triangle | Decks and Ruling

Destroy 1 monster on the field with an A-Counter. Then, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Alien" monster from your Deck. Destroy it during the End Phase.

• Destroys any monster that has at least 1 A-Counter on it.
• Can Special Summoned level 4 or lower “Alien” monster from your Deck to
  your Field.

• Monsters Special Summoned by this card effect is destroyed at the End
  Phase.
• Requires the target monster to have at least 1 A-Counter on it.

• You can also use Mysterious Triangle on your own monsters as long as
  they have A-Counter. One of the plays is attack with your own Alien
  monsters that has A-counter, then destroy it with Mysterious Triangle
  to get another level 4 “Alien” monster out and do another attack.
• Another powerful play is take control of your opponent’s monster that
  has A-counter(s) on it with Brainwashing Beam, do an attack, and then
  destroy it with Mysterious Triangle to get another level 4 “Alien”
  monster out and do another attack.

Together with this card, you can use this combo both offensively and defensively since they are both Quick-Play Spells. You can use “A” Cell Recombination Device on the targeted opponent monster, and follow up with Mysterious Triangle to destroy it, Special Summon 1 level 4 “Alien” monster to the field, which may potentially grant you a chance to end the game fast.

Alien

• If the monster targeted by Mysterious Triangle was not destroyed due to
  certain conditions, you may not Special Summon any Alien monsters.
• You can still use this card if you do not have level 4 or lower Alien
  monsters left in your Deck, because the first effect that destroys
  monsters with A-Counter will resolve first, then you can choose whether
  to Special Summon Alien monster.
