Dragunity Darkspear can be used in a deck with lots of low-leveled Winged-Beast monsters for him to revival. Possible decks include Dragunity, Blackwing, Harpie, and Gusto.

You can choose to revive Winged-Beast monsters with the precise level for it and Dragunity Darkspear to have a combined level equal to the Synchro monster you want to make. At most you can make level-7 Synchro monsters like Power Tool Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon with this combo.

Not true. Trident exists. He's not great, but he exists.

Darkspear was never good in Dragunity anyway, though. Dux and Legionnaire only trigger when Normal Summoned, so there's nothing WORTH reviving with it in-theme.

I had fun with it in Harpies back in the day, though.
