How to Play

Graydle Slime

Graydle Slime Jr.
Graydle Slime Jr.
WATER Aqua ★2
ATK 0 / DEF 2000
Judgement Force [R]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 "Graydle" monster in your Graveyard; you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except WATER monsters, also Special Summon that target, then you can Special Summon 1 Aqua-Type monster with the same Level from your hand. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Graydle" monster from your Deck.

Normal Summoning Slime Jr. lets you revive any Graydle monster including their boss monster Graydle Dragon. As for Slime Jr.'s floating effect, you can keep Special Summoning more copies of it to stall the opponent or you can Special Summon Slime when you're ready to make a Synchro.

Slime Jr. is itself also a Tuner so you can use it for Synchro plays. Especially with Territory of the Sharks, you can make Graydle Dragon with Slime Jr. and any of your Crystron non-Tuners.

Graydle Slime
Graydle Slime
WATER Aqua ★5
ATK 0 / DEF 2000
Judgement Force [R]
If this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can target 2 "Graydle" cards you control; destroy them, and if you do, Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Graydle Slime" once per turn. When Summoned this way: You can target 1 "Graydle" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in Defense Position.

Graydle Slime's high Level makes it ideal for making high Level Synchros such as Graydle Dragon. Just pair Graydle Slime with a Level-3 non-Tuner like Crystron Thystvern. Slime also pairs well with Rosenix' Token to make a Level-6 Synchro. Get Slime on the field by Special Summoning it with Slime Jr. or Graydle Split.

Graydle Impact

Graydle Impact
Graydle Impact
Continuous Spell
Judgement Force [SR]
You can target 1 other "Graydle" card you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy them. During your End Phase: You can add 1 "Graydle" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Graydle Impact" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Most of the time you'll want to search Slime Jr. The search effect occurs during the End Phase so you'll need to wait till your next turn to really use the card you searched, and searching a Trap like Graydle Split is even slower because it means you'll need to wait another turn to set the Trap before actually using it.

For the removal effect, the target on your field can be a Slime Jr. you Normal Summoned for its revival effect. If you have a copy of Graydle Dragon on the field and another copy in the graveyard, you can destroy Graydle Dragon and revive the other copy in your graveyard. Effectively destroying an enemy card without losing any of your field presence.

Graydle Split

Graydle Split
Graydle Split
Normal Trap
Judgement Force [N]
Target 1 face-up monster you control; equip this card to it. It gains 500 ATK. During your Main Phase: You can send this card equipped to a monster by this effect to the Graveyard; destroy the monster this card was equipped to, and if you do, Special Summon 2 "Graydle" monsters with different names from your Deck, but destroy them during the End Phase. You can only use this effect of "Graydle Split" once per turn.

Graydle Split is a great combo piece. For example you could:

  1. Normal Summon Rosenix.
  2. Equip Rosenix with Graydle Split then destroy it to Special Summon Slime and Slime Jr.
  3. Activate Territory of the Sharks and change both Slime and Slime Jr. to Level-4.
  4. Banish Rosenix in your graveyard to Special Summon a Token.
  5. Use all the monsters on your field to make Quariongandrax.

A shorter combo without using your Skill would be to use the Special Summoned Slime with Rosenix' Token to make a Level-6 Synchro. Optionally, you could use the Level-6 Synchro with Slime Jr. to Synchro climb into Graydle Dragon.

Graydle Split can be equipped to any monster and the 500 ATK boost is also quite helpful. Equipping it to Graydle Dragon allows it to attack over most monsters.

Crystron Engine

Crystron Sulfefnir
Crystron Sulfefnir
WATER Machine ★5
ATK 2000 / DEF 1500
Cybernetic Rebellion [UR]
If this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can discard 1 "Crystron" card, except "Crystron Sulfefnir"; Special Summon this card in Defense Position, then destroy 1 card you control. If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Crystron Sulfefnir" once per turn.

Sulfefnir is great at getting your Crystron non-Tuners in the graveyard where they can use their second effects. Then you can Sulfefnir destroys itself upon summoning to Special Summon Citree from the Deck.

Crystron Thystvern
Crystron Thystvern
WATER Machine ★3
ATK 1500 / DEF 1500
Spirit of the Beast [SR]
You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Crystron Thystvern". You can only use 1 "Crystron Thystvern" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Crystron Smiger
Crystron Smiger
WATER Machine ★3
ATK 1000 / DEF 1800
Cybernetic Rebellion [SR]
You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also, destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Crystron Smiger" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Thystvern and Smiger are practically the same monster, the only difference is Thystvern searches Crystron monsters while Smiger searches Crystron Spell/Traps, making Thystvern slightly more desirable. Other than that, they're both Level-3 monsters that pair with Graydle Slime to make Graydle Dragon, or pair with Citree to make Ametrix. And both of them are put in the graveyard by Sulfefnir.

All low-Leveled Crystron non-Tuners have the same first effect which is mainly used to destroy themselves and Special Summon Citree.

Crystron Rosenix
Crystron Rosenix
WATER Machine ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 1000
Cybernetic Rebellion [R]
You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Crystron Token" (Machine-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0), but it cannot be Tributed. You can only use 1 "Crystron Rosenix" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Rosenix is mainly run because of its ability to generate a Token on demand. This Token will then be used as synchro material.

Crystron Citree
Crystron Citree
WATER Machine ★2
ATK 500 / DEF 500
Cybernetic Rebellion [SR]
During your opponent's Main Phase or Battle Phase: You can target 1 non-Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but it has its effects negated (if any), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster using only that monster and this card (this is a Quick Effect). These Synchro Materials are banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Crystron Citree" once per turn.

At the start of the opponent's Battle Phase, use Citree's effect to Special Summon Smiger or Thystvern to make Ametrix.

Crystron Impact
Crystron Impact
Normal Trap
Spirit of the Beast [SR]
Target 1 of your banished "Crystron" monsters; Special Summon it, and if you do, if your opponent controls any face-up monsters, change their DEF to 0. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard, when a card or effect is activated that targets a "Crystron" monster you control: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate that effect.

Crystron Impact leaves enemy monsters vulnerable with 0 DEF especially when combo'ed with Ametrix to change their monsters to defense position. Reviving a banished Crystron is also useful since you'll be banishing a lot between Citree's effect and the non-Tuners' own effects. Lastly, while in the graveyard Crystron Impact is great for protecting Ametrix and Quariongandrax from targeting effects.

Extra Decks

Crystron Quariongandrax
Crystron Quariongandrax
WATER Machine ★9
ATK 3000 / DEF 3000
Cybernetic Rebellion [UR]
2 or more Tuners + 1 non-Tuner monster
If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target monsters your opponent controls and/or in their Graveyard, up to the number of Synchro Materials used for the Synchro Summon of this card; banish them. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 banished monster, except this card; Special Summon it to your field.

With three possible removal targets upon summoning Quariongandrax, you can get rid of all monsters on your opponent’s side of the field with a single card and then attack them directly for 3000 damage. But most of the time they won't even have three monsters on the field so you can banish some backrow as well.

The floating effect is also quite powerful; allowing you to revive any banished monster, even the ones you banished upon summoning Quariongandrax.

Graydle Dragon
Graydle Dragon
WATER Aqua ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2000
Judgement Force [R]
1 Aqua-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target cards your opponent controls, up to the number of WATER monsters used for the Synchro Summon of this card; destroy them. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 other WATER monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but its effects are negated. You can only use each effect of "Graydle Dragon" once per turn.

Graydle Dragon is the boss monster you'll summon most of the time. Its removal effect upon summoning is very similar to Quariongandrax but you'll usually have only two removal targets instead of three.

Graydle Dragon also has a floating effect which is arguably stronger than Quariongandrax. With this you can revive Quariongandrax or even another copy of Graydle Dragon.

Coral Dragon
Coral Dragon
WATER Dragon ★6
ATK 2400 / DEF 500
Chronicle of Glory [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. If this Synchro Summoned card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Coral Dragon" once per turn.

Coral Dragon provides some simple removal and the discard costs helps you load Crystron non-Tuners into the graveyard.

White Aura Dolphin
White Aura Dolphin
WATER Fish ★6
ATK 2400 / DEF 1000
Cybernetic Rebellion [SR]
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes half its original ATK until the end of this turn. If this card you control is destroyed by an opponent's card (by battle or card effect) and sent to your GY: You can banish 1 other WATER monster from your GY; Special Summon this card, and if you do, it is treated as a Tuner.

White Aura Dolphin can halve an enemy monster's ATK for free, and it can do this every turn. This makes even the strongest monster susceptible to beatdown. For White Aura Dolphin's inherent revival, a WATER deck such as this should have enough cost to revive Dolphin for days.

Crystron Ametrix
Crystron Ametrix
WATER Machine ★5
ATK 2500 / DEF 1500
Cybernetic Rebellion [R]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can change all face-up Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls to Defense Position. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 "Crystron" monster in your Graveyard, except a Synchro Monster; Special Summon it.

Ametrix' battle position changing is already quite good because most enemy boss monsters are Special Summoned and changing them to defense position lets you run them over with Ametrix. Combined with Citree to Synchro Summon Ametrix during the opponent's turn, letting you disrupt their Battle Phase.

Crystron Impact debuffs all enemy DEFs to 0, combos well with Ametrix.
