Debris Dragon

You can revive a level-3 WATER monster with Debris Dragon’s effect and use both monsters to make Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier.

I'm still wondering why gungnir material is not generic unlike his brothers, Brionac and Trishula? Also in battle, gungnir is no. 2 because he has higher ATK than Brionac but lower than Trishula. If we look his effect, it's not broken.

Because it'd be broken if its generic? Its easier to summon Gungnir than Brionac for most decks and it has a higher attack

poor Gungnir is going to be the only Ice Barrier Dragon that's not UR, since Brionac is UR and no doubt Trishula will be UR too

Has anyone tried making an ice barrier deck splashed with INVOKED? i think you can make a good deck with those

Is the discard a cost? Will it activate Dark World and Fabled effects?

It is a cost. Not compatible with Dark World, but could be used with Fabled. Still Gungnir is more suitable for Water deck, although you can easily summon it in any deck using LV3 tuner + Swamp Mirrorer

Since that the discard is a cost, it will also trigger Atlantean Marksman & Heavy Infantry's effect.

Even with the errata, Brionic is still a powerful card- Gungir being the weakest of the 4 ice barrier synchros getting released first makes sense

Aromage Synchro can use this btw, Aromage Rosemary is water.
