Pyrorex the Elemental Lord | Decks and Tips

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having exactly 5 FIRE monsters in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it, and if you do, both players take damage equal to half the original ATK of the destroyed monster. You can only use this effect of "Pyrorex the Elemental Lord" once per turn. If this card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn.

• Destroys opponents monster without any cost.
• Strong ATK and DEF stats.

• Specific Special Summoning conditions makes it challenging to bring this monster out.
• You take LP damage upon destroying your opponent’s monster via its effect.
• If this card leaves the field regardless of how it was removed, you skip your next Battle Phase.

• Although this card is a Dinosaur-type monster, it is not recommended to use with Dinosaur decks simply because there are not enough FIRE Dinosaur-type monster with good effects to support the Special Summoning of this monster.
• Upon Special Summoning this monster, you can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, and if they only controlled 1 monster, you can Normal Summon another FIRE type monster, and continue your attack together with Pyrorex to deal considerable damage.

In order to speed up the process of accumulating exactly 5 FIRE monsters in your Graveyard, you can use this array of cards as they have synergy with each other and they have effects to send FIRE monsters to the Graveyard faster. Kirin is able to send 1 FIRE monster to the graveyard upon being destroyed, Yaksha is able to send another FIRE monster from your hand to the graveyard if it is destroyed, Caninetaur is able to send 1 FIRE Beast-type or Beast-Warrior type monster to the graveyard to enhance its own ATK for that turn, Goka can destroy 1 of your FIRE monsters upon being Special Summoned, and Fire King Island allows you to send 1 monster from your hand (preferably FIRE monster) in order to draw another “Fire KIng” monster from your deck to your hand. It is very important, however, to pay attention to the number of FIRE monster cards in your Graveyard as it must be exactly 5 FIRE monsters in order to Special Summon Pyrorex the Elemental Lord.
