Rex Raptor's Dino Mayhem has begun!

In addition, Roaring Rex Raptor will appear in Duel World during the event. Defeat him and your Duel meter will fill up significantly!

Regarding the Event

Roaring Rex Raptor does not appear at the Gate.
Roaring Rex Raptor has different Decks/Rewards from the regular Rex Raptor.
Rex Raptor will not appear in Duel World if you are using him as your character.
Only 1 Roaring Rex Raptor will appear in Duel World at once.
The chance of Roaring Rex Raptor appearing in Duel World is not affected by the appearance of other Standard/Legendary Duelists or by the use of Duel Orbs/Boosted Duel Orbs.

Jurassic World

This card raises the ATK of Dinosaur-Type monsters on the field by 300.
It used to only be available through "Dinosaur Kingdom", but now you can put it in your deck!

Dark Driceratops

This monster can deal battle damage when attaqcking monsters in Defense Position. In addition, it has the same ATK as "REBD". It's a level 6 monster, making it easy to tribute summoned.

Is it just me or Rex doesn't appear as often as other roaming LDs. It's been 11 hours since he spawned and he still didn't appear. That has never happened to me...

Spawn rate has been kind of weird for me it was spawning rex a 🔥 ton earlier in the week, but now he has been slowing down a bit

He appeared yesterday more than 10 times and 8 of them lvl 4p

Best thing about this event is undoubtedly the dialogue lines where Rex himself bashes the Dinosaur type in favour of others (Dragons mostly). It seems that Dinosaurs in Yu-Gi-Oh! are either straight trash or broken as all hell (if I'm not mistaken Dino is meta currently in the TCG)

Ulle, you are right. Dinos, and Fairies for 🔥 sake, are the types that have been receiving the middle finger since a long time. Regarding the new box thing: I wouldn't be surprised; Elegant Mai event: Ice Barrier Princess released in the same week the Ice Barrier archetype was available in the box

Just saying but 2 copies of "Jurassic World" and 3 copies of "Destroyersaurus" are gonna be needed for the Chemical Deck of Baston Misawa from GX, to buff up his "Hydrogeddon" and "Oxygeddon".

whaaaaat ? Dude are you saying that for real ? Do events with at least 7K assesment is the basic. 99% of people have enough foil/prismatic cards to go for 8K+ with no problem. This site even contain farm decks to reach 8K DA on every single event, just go and checkIf thats why you think this is not a fair game, you should learn the basics first

I suspect the dude that I replied were cheating, as he play only for a 1 single month and had all cards from LD drop and had all skills for each chars. How is that not cheating? There are auto 8k assesment cheat out there whether you win or lose fyi. Stop jumping into conclusion ye wankas.

idk if im just lucky or are the drop rates for Rex is really good??? I've gotten 4 SR so far; 1 petra, 1 Jurassic World, and 2 Destroyersarus

As a guy who stay on stage 31 for months without bothering stage up, I also felt lvl. 40 spawn rate is really horrible on this event. 🔥 move konami, 🔥 move.

Stage 31 here. Seen a lot of lv 20 and 30. Only one lv 40. and I just faced off against a lv 10 Rex..... no SR so far. Have been able to farm lv 30 for 8k each time with elements unite though. Luck is just not on my side so far. Hopefully it changes!

General Question
I'm at stage 35, sure not very high but i haven't bothered much going to later stages, i'm fine here. Joey and May events were ok, lv 30 and 40 spawns. But with this Rex event, i keep getting lv 20 Rex, why is that? Is it something new? Do i need to get into a higher stage (40?) Kinda sucks to get the lv 20, hope it's a bug tho.
