Summer 2017 Rex event: Rex Raptor's Dino Mayhem!

Forgot to finish the 50 gems... sigh.

I get 7000 consistently against lvl 40 and get nothing over and over.
Then I lose once and... there's Destroyersaurus

What is even real anymore

I do not have a problem with the event. Ivdo feel Rampaging Rex is a better name and fits the hint better. I do however, dislike the text based cut scenes with Rex as well as his drops. A few of the new dinosaur cards he drops, not previously in Duel Links are cards of Hasselberry, a Yugioh GX.

Hasselberry talks about dinosaurs and how some evolved into "winged beast." He uses Dark Diceratops which might would be a signature card when he is added to Duel Links. The event playing out like it does might draw conclusions that Rex will replace Hasselberry. I feel Hasselberry cements his right to be added as a GX character and thus the event seems out of place because the cards and the dialogue is things belonging to that of another character.

Now this overall is not a big deal but many would complain if some 3Ds or random character from another series showed up using Seto Kiba cards and talking like him. I just feel the loots and lines of txt ahould have been saved for Hasselberry. I do think the crisis Rex has with realing dinos are not dragons and how his ace cards are not dinos is cute. It is adorable in concept but the bit about his sig card becoming a card used by another dino duelist and the bit about rescent studies showing dinos evolved into birds is almost an exact quotr of Hasselberry and it just feels like he is taking that characters spotlight.

Many reptiles even prehistoric ones did evolve into birds but dinosaurs in the traditional sense did not. Most traditional dinosaurs have recently been proven to be mamals not reptiles. This includes nearly every soecies seen on The Land Before Time. Which are the classic ones the dino decks are mostly based on.

I love these roaming duelist events and do hope we get more. I just hope they do not continue to let characters steal other's spotlights. That is unkess they plan to have Hasselberry reference this event later on and accuse Rex of stealing his ideas from him.

Been staying on stage 31 on purpose, starting to see lvl. 10 rex today. Wtf konami?

So far the spawn rates have very inconsistent some days he spawns often some he only spawns twice a day what kind of 🔥ty algorithm is this about the drops haven't been so lucky so far but the event isn't over yet we'll see

Me: Stage 60, 61 duels, 0 Destroyersaurus

My little brother: Stage 51, 53 duels, 2 Destroyersaurus

Is this event perfect? Nope. Is it the best roaming event yet? Nuh uh. Is it passable? Yeah. Yeah it is.

Let's be honest, combining the Roaming Event and the Duel-A-Thon was a pretty good idea, though I am kinda annoyed only one SR was guaranteed, and even then you have to work for it pretty consistently... grr.

Now a lot of people here are complaining entirely too much, and to them I say "Knock it off." Yeah, the droprate is meh, but not really any worse than other roaming events. Level 40 seems to spawn more often than with any other time, so that's a good thing too. Also, come on, guys. New cards don't have to be meta to be good, or fun to play. Destroyersaurus literally gives you the discard fuel to bring it back with Fossil Excavation (if you already have JW on the field).

What I'm tryin to say is come on. This isn't the best roaming event ever, but it's not bad, as they go. Try to stop complaining/only focusing on the negatives, and just have some fun.

This event is 🔥er🔥 with no 🔥ty rewards. Same momentum on how DM fans are 🔥ty as well.

I like how they combine all the boring filler event into one like this, more rewards, less wasted time. The spawn rate is just the same to me, but the lv40 spamn rate is significantly higher, stage 51 and up.

I'm staying purposely on stage 31 atm, but since wandering duelist lvl. 40 spawn more on higher stage, is it worth it to pass stage 50++ asap?

This event is boring.
