Pros

  • Can destroy a monster it attacks using an effect and it's not targeted.
  • Has an effect to protect itself by sacrificing another face-up Six Samurai monster you control.

Cons

  • Requires another face-up six samurai monster with a different name to have its monster destroying effect, and any six samurai monster for protection.
  • Low defense.

Tips

These are cards from the same box that helps keep your Six Samurai monsters alive. If you have multiple monsters in your graveyard, you can choose which one to summon using Powerful Rebirth. This gives you more option during certain situation to make more plays. Legendary Ebon Steed protects your monster from getting destroyed.

All of the Six Samurai monsters are warrior-type monsters, so using The A. Forces will help boost their attack, which can be devastating if you can swarm the field. Swiftstrike Armor can be a little slow, but it can potentially let you get an extra summon during your turns, allowing you to get 2 monsters out on the field. It can also be used with Reload since all of the monsters you get after using Reload can be special summoned with Swifstrike Armor.

So how exactly does Zanji's effect work? I've had other Six Samurai on the field and attacked a card with a higher attack and it didn't destroy the card it attacked.

SO perhaps this is broken. I could've won many a match if this effect worked

not really, i managed to pull the effect with zanji and another six samurai, obviously zanji will be destroyed if attacking a higher atk monster but still that monster is destroyed after that BUT mind you, you must control another six sam with a difeerent name AFTER zanji is destroyed too so you cant save zanji by destroying another sam you control

Use it's effect after using a card like:
-Sphere Ebola
-Winds of Etaqua
-Curse of Anubis
-Enemy Controller
-Security Orb

It protects your Zanji, gives you a turn to summon another Six Samurai to activates Zanji effect and prevents your Zanji from dying by attacking a monster with higher attack in defense position.

So yeah you might lose some LP but it's better than summoning 3 Six Sam...

The best way to use Zanji's effect is to have another face up six samurai monster on the field. One of those monsters should be equipped with Ebon Steed. Using Zanji, if you attack a monster with a higher ATK than Zanji, destroy the monster equipped with Ebon Steed to resolve Zanji's effect and keep two monsters on the field in the aftermath.
