This page notes details of Raviel, Lord of Phantasms (DARK/Fiend/Effect Monster) : decks, tips, effect and rulings. Learn and enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links!
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 3 Fiend-Type monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Each time your opponent Normal Summons a monster(s): Special Summon 1 "Phantasm Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 1000/DEF 1000) for each monster Summoned. These Tokens cannot declare an attack. Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 monster; this card gains ATK equal to the original ATK of the Tributed monster, until the End Phase.
Token swarming relies on your opponent’s Normal Summon.
Attack boost effect is costly.
Tips
Raviel will only summon Tokens when your opponent Normal Summons. Setting a monster doesn’t count.
Summoning
You need 3 monsters on the field to summon Raviel, Lord of Phantasms which is not always easy, here are some cards that can help. If your opponent has a full field, Phantom Skyblaster can Special Summon 2 tokens and together with him they can be used to summon Raviel. Multiply Tributes Kuriboh and fills your field with Fiend-type tokens. Puppet Master revives 2 more fiend-type monsters.
You can use Token Sundae to use up your Phantasm Tokens and destroy your opponent’s cards. Token Thanksgiving destroys all Tokens on the field and heals your LP.
Infernity
Most of the monsters in this archetype are Fiend-types. Additionally many of their monsters have effects to help you spam the field. Although Infernity Knight is more suited in a Dark World deck, it can also be used to summon Raviel.
Dark World monsters are able to trigger their effects when discarded via card effect. Famously some of their monsters revive themselves after being discarded, so they can then be used to summon Raviel.
