  • Able to destroy any card on the field, if your dice roll is not 1 or 6.
  • Effect can be used continuously as long as you have cards to discard as cost.

  • Weak ATK and DEF stats.
  • Need to discard cards as cost to use effect.

Resources for Discard

Here are some cards you can discard as cost for the effect of Snipe Hunter.

  • When discarded, The Fabled Ganashia revives himself with an additional 200 attack.
  • Sinister Serpent can be retrieved from the graveyard during each of your standby phases, but keep in mind if he is sent to the graveyard the turn he was retrieved he will be banished during your opponent's end phase.
  • Discard Gusto Griffin to special summon another Gusto monster from your deck. A good target for this is Caam, Serenity of Gusto because she is able to recycle Gusto Griffin back into the deck for Reuse and also draw a card to replenish your hand.
  • Volcanic Shell, while in the graveyard, can search another copy of himself from the deck. This allows you to effectively replenish your hand and lets you activate the effect of Snipe hunter up to 3 times for the cost of 1 card in your hand while also thinning your deck.
  • You can discard Thunder Dragon to the Graveyard, draw 2 more Thunder Dragons to your Hand, and use as cost for Sniper Hunter.

Dice Support

You can use this trap card to get another chance at rolling dice.

  • This card’s discarding effect is treated as a cost to use its effect, therefore it does not support Dark World archetypes.
  • This card also support decks that requires discard, like Dark Necrofear, in order to utilize their effects from the graveyard.

If I got a nickel for every time this card gives me a 1 or 6, I would be a millionaire.
For example, when some GameA commenters ask for a Snipe Hunter limit, you can be 100% sure that’s typical case of inferior intelligence.

To limit a card with less than 2000 attack points that relies on luck. Just no.

must be a Lava Golem player too scared to see his only way to win gets limited

also I bet you keep saying "down syndrome" without actually knowing what it is

Are you serious m8? Reply
Nobody in this post ever mentioned 'Down Syndrome', no one. Your intelligence is inferior, isn't it?

That's the problem with the people that comment here, they are most of the times, 🔥ed and put words in the mouth of others.
More like 6%...Really !? Hmm, let's see together if is the case okey ;) First: you need a 2,3,4,or a 5 to destroy a card on the field (that can be a monster set in defense or face up, that can be a spell set or face up and that can be a trap set or face up). Second: that card as only 1500 atk right but may i remind you guys that it's need only 500 atk to be half of your life points !? That card is so OP that many of you people's use it in they're deck because it's boost the chance of winning or turning the ties in a tournament. I'd be curious to see if people's would still use it if this one was reversed and if it was only the 1 or the 6 that destroyed a card on the field because that would really be a card based on luck as it would be supposed to be ;)
The guy who posted a picture of rolling a 6 twice in a row, that guy copied the dice with photoshop and pasted it again down below in the turn record.

The chances of Snipe Hunter work as intended.

Damn, that was a typical case of inferior intelligence x2

rip rng

Never trust computer generated rng, I believe that they have increased the odds for 1&6. Just like the dice monopoly event, you will always throw a 1 in normal room and always get 3 in a treasure room.

yep, the dice roll in that event is wacky too. Also, notice how you ALWAYS roll right into a Vagabond.
First duel I used this card it rolled dice four times, all four rolls landed on 6. I decided to keep track. It has now rolled 117 dice, with 91 of those rolls landing on 1 or 6. In other words, I have discarded 117 cards to destroy 26 cards. Game is rigged or I have terrible luck. Still useful to get specific cards in graveyard though.
40% chance to get 6
40% chance to get 1
20% chance to get everything else

It says something that BEWD has to rely on RNG to get rid of threats.

Is there any better card that you can put into BEWD deck to set up your GY apart from this card? I will be happy to remove this card if there is any.

Some people use 2 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter instead of Snipe Hunter

Wonder ballons maybe?
God I hate this card. It's all luck of the roll. Watched my opponent pull it out on their first turn and wipe out all 4 cards I'd laid out. The odds should be 50-50, not 2/3 in the card's favor. Or at least just once per turn.

Haha, consider that kids think this card is rigged and only work 1/3 of the time, it really is about luck and you could have also been lucky enough to make your opponent lose their whole hand and only lose 1 or 2 cards. I agree that any effect that activates more than once per turn is broken though.

Looks like something is wrong with your deck, if you haven’t had the single Canadia, Floodgate or Chalice among these four cards

Skill > luck
For all who praise this card
Look for a post on Reddit, someone made the statistics of 500 games and got 1 and 6 in 55% of games instead of 33%.

Good luck to survive until the next turn after this 🔥

The outcome of rolling a dice with number not equal 1 or 6 equals = 66%

Wrong. This is how it should be, but in practice the result is much worse.

One player threw a dice many times, counting the result and got 1 and 6 in 55% of attempts.
Really OP in Fableds.
