  • Quick play spell that can be activated during damage step.
  • Can target your own monster.

Cons

  • Not very useful against monsters with low defense.

Reverse Trap

While it can already be a good quick-play spell on its own, the added flexibility of being able to target your own monsters can be useful, especially since cards like Wall of Disruption, field spell, or attack increase cards are used somewhat commonly. Using Gravity Lash and Reverse Trap can catch your opponent by surprise and win the duel early.

If it alters the Attack, it can be use at Damage Step. So yes

Considering how much ATK it can take away depending on the monster, this is like a Spell version of WOD, only this one targets 1 monster instead of affecting all.

And not permanent unlike WOD, but it's not like that matter if your opponent's monster gets wiped out anyway.
